Im returning again and again to this piece; your channel has become my home. Also, I tried a little experiment. I patched your video into my Strymon BigSky and Strymon TimeLine, then into my home sound system. OMG! It was amazing. It felt that we were collaborating together! Of course I have no way of recording it since I don't have a PC or a DAW, and even if I did, I wouldn't dream of recording YOUR music with MY enhancements. But for my own private selfish enjoyment, it was amazing. Yeah, when it comes to ambient music, I'm certainly a minimalist. In fact, I only have the Hexen modular synthesizer app on my phone + my 2 Strymon effects pedals + my Fender RUMBLE bass amp. That's it. Nothing more is needed. But sometimes I get bored and try other experiments (like patching your music into my system). I'm glad I did. It opened up new worlds of exploration. I put your music on and let it play all day long and all night long. Nothing is better! I love playing your music while enjoying a fine cigar or a nice tobacco blend in my pipe while also sipping a sweet and refreshing cocktail or nightcap. Or even while having my morning coffee or my nighttime snack. In truth, there is no wrong time to enjoy your music, Grego. You have truly enganced my life and I cannot thank you enough. Mark
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Coincidentally I was just listening to your music a few days ago, it's really lovely stuff! I especially like the live performances with the Mbira. I'm looking to make something like that in the future.
Love it. Also very lovely imagination - skiing on mars. What was your sound source for this patch? Only rings? And is the bard quartet doing these great chord progressions? Anyways, it is very inspiring. I also want to try a more generative evolving patches next time.
Thank you so much, I'm really glad you like it. The sound sources were Rings and Ripples as an oscillator. The BQ has a few different chord progressions programmed into it, and it swaps between them every now and then based on a S&H. This was my first patch with it and I'm still learning it, but it's an awesome tool for the type of music I like to make. I wish you luck in your modular journey!
Yes, I have learned that you have to be very careful not to overspend on modules. I found that the faster I buy modules the less fun I have with them and the less I learn them. Nowadays I only buy a module if I'm sure that I need that particular thing and I can't recreate its function with my existing set of modules. That being said, my wishlist is still reeeally long.

Very peaceful 😊
Such beautiful texture & atmosphere on this Gergo !
Thank you so much!
Great piece! The evolution of the chords is really well-timed and balanced. It never feels predictable but also flows really well

@@gergofuxreiter wow thank you so much! That mbira stuff was a lot of fun, I thought of it as jamming with my past self from 30 seconds ago hahaha

Great work with a minimal setup. Superb!
Thank you so much! I try to improve and grow alongside my system!
Nice! Is it "Paulstretched"?
Thanks! Everything you hear comes straight from the modular, I didn't use any external effects or software.
Beautiful
Reminds me of "Inside the Deku Tree" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Something seems to be wrong with your case. It looks like you haven't maxed out your credit cards yet.

@gergofuxreiter no doubt. I have a rack on modular grid for my wish list. Despite being the largest size you can get as a free user, it's mostly full.
