Man that Mindset sure looks good going down the lane! My mindset when I need a double in the 10th is just take an extra breath to relax and focus, then just the normal routine; count my steps to stay on time and let muscle memory do the rest. For me timing is key for everything else to flow
google the video . . . Quiet Mind . . .it has helped me do what you say you do in a pressure situation and it has helped me block out distractions encounter on the lanes 🙂
I found out recently that the Proton is discontinued which surprises me with how relatively new it is. I love this ball! I wonder if I should buy a new Proton and keep it boxed for a rainy day, or just go with a new ball when the time comes. I assume the Super Nova would be the next best thing, but even the Infinite or perhaps the Absolute may be decent replacements for the Proton. Maybe I just need to get in the right Mindset with this Brunswick ball. I'm sure a new ball will be out by the time this is truly an issue for me... Mindset in the tenth? I normally don't think too much about it...except the other night when I had the front 10 and I have never bowled 300, so my mindset was don't screw up...especially with everyone on the adjacent lanes paused to watch (which only adds to the stress!). Anyway, pulled it a little and had a split in the 11th....
If I'm bowling well, it's usually 'okay, just 3 more good shots'. When I'm bowling terribly, I'm thinking about what last frame was on this lane, the line I took, and how much I should adjust.

Meaning I don't care if my team is dead last or we are in first I bowl for me my set my average. And if it's in a tournament I tell myself do what you do and what happens happens
If the Proton Physix is discontinued, you could use an Infinite Physix, sand it to 2000 grit like the Proton Physix, and I understand REX is a step down from NEX.

I'd like to see it compared to the Gem and DNA. I'm trying to figure out what to replace my C300 Savage with. I really liked the Cuda when I threw it, but also want to start bowling sport leagues again soon and might need something stronger.
Always one shot at a time, I don’t like to think that far ahead. It’s the same as going for a 300 game. Most importantly, I don’t ever overanalyze my next shot based on the previous strike.
I am a new bowler, with a very low rev rate. Around 200 RPM at 14-16mph. I was able to bowl a 231 using an exotic gem playing the outside line on a house shot. I'm looking for a second ball, would the mindset be a good option?

This is perfect for me! I use a cuda as my benchmark and wanted a comparison between it and the mindset.

: ) Free yourself of total brand loyalty. There are amazing bowling balls everywhere on the market now. No one is on a pedestal anymore.
I mostly tell myself try keep myself stay calm and do what have to do and that’s do the best as I can during the 10 frame

I have a Cuda solid pin up and one compound polish pin down, love that ball’ but really interested in the mind set.

My mindset in the tenth depends on how well I'm lined up. I usually just try to stay mentally focused.

How does it compare to the gem?
The Archetype is closer to a Gem for me. The Mindset is probably more like a Reality or Proton Physix.

My mind normally in the 10th frame is just focuse on the first ball and plan out the gameplan after that.

Which obbsession tour? The envy tour is basically a obsession tour solid. Same core and same base coverstock
