White washing Young fruit trees for protection from the sun and pests

I have whitewashed the 2 foot on the bottom of each of our young fruit trees for protection from the sun. I have a picture of the product I used at the beginning of the video. I was just using the Waze of my parents when I was growing up. They painted the bottom of the trees white, instead of white wash wash wash. It was made from lime to protect the trees.
