The dislikes are from people that don't know what it is to be rejected and hated. I have been depressed and at some point of my life I contemplated suicide but this woman is on another level depression. I pray God provides her the healing she needs.
She is just so beautiful and strong, as a therapist I feel her pain and we all make mistakes people shouldn't judge her.. Kiki take heart may God bless you and keep you.
No no no, I totally disagree. This was not a mistake on her part it was her circumstances that led her to prostitution. We need to highlight that, and she should not feel guilt at all. 16/ 17? No no no she deserves a full exemption from criticism. I wish I can talk to her face to face. This should not be taken lightly. She didn't even have to go public, she didn't comit crime. She must try to work on the pains of her past and release the guilt she's feeling because she's alone in that guilt road. The person who infected her did he disclosed he's hiv status? Her mother who abandoned her is she feeling guilty? The family members who didn't help her to remain and complete school are they guilty?
Do u know she must have told a lot of the men to wear protection and they will refuse to be bare that they like it that way and yet blame her. Zip up men. If u are married stay with your wife.
As you can hear a lot of people's problems stem from their childhood. Please take time to show All your children love, kindness and respect, it goes a long way
So if I had a daughter with HIV that decided to sleep with her brothers or all her sons and gave it to them with indifference would she invite my daughter to dinner and best friends or Nah?
You are not a counselor nor a therapist but an outstanding and exceptional interviewer with a heart. The story is very touching. Someone has reached out offering counseling and I hope someone did also, to assist her with getting through COVID-19 financially.
You don't need to cry coz she is lying like a rug ask yourself how could everyone in the whole entire family is against her that means she is the problem

Any HIV related NGO to take and use her bravely to speak about HIV in the society. Any Gynaecologist, counselor, NGO body, watched this video.. Please give service to humanity. Thanks to Lyn for giving this lady a platform. Kiki this i the first step to healing. One cardinal virtue is Courage.. You are very courageous Kiki.
I have realized Most of the people who grew up in the late 80's and 90's were brought up in toxic environments. From abusive parents to drunk parents and irresponsible parents, parents who felt as if they are doing their children a favour by even doing basic responsibilities like providing basic needs and paying school fees. However, it's our responsibility to fix ourselves. I know it's hard but we have to. Because we cannot afford to carry the bitterness to our next generation. I hope you find help and feel better.. Do it for yourself..sending hugs your way❤❤❤
sarah wangechi If you think about the time in which those parents were born 60’s 70’s a lot was going on wars colonial stuff and all, as well as I think maybe that’s how it was before the 60’s😂 I’m not sure I’m a millennial
Very true. Been there and it isn't a good thing. The thing caught with me recently and I sunk into depression. I even tried to kill myself severally, let's say like 20times, But I thank God coz with all the suicidal attempts He still kept me. The healing journey hasn't been easy, but I have made good progress. I have learnt to make peace and forgive. May God see her through the this.

And many many MANY thanks to Lynn and the team.
This is the only thought I had watching this video. That’s why the Bible says judge not. How can you judge without knowing the whole story is always my caution

First of all I respect Kiki for her courage and honesty in discussing such a difficult subject matter. Secondly, to my fellow Kenyans please see the gold in her and not the dross of a sad story. She had to fight for a better life for her and for her family members the best she knew even as a child. She cannot walk this journey alone, she needs allies and a support system so if you are within Nairobi please help out and bless this beautiful soul.
Your correct and I recommend girls kid to be rised up with care and support from the entirely family to avoid all this tragedy, if parents doesn't offers care to their daughter they will get it somewhere else and elsewhere it will come with more Challenges

This interviewer is amazing. As much as I truly feel for what this woman has gone through, there's no excuse of any kind ever to knowingly spread HIV. Glad she is coming out and hopefully sees the error in her ways in the future. Her message at the end is positive. She is strong to go through all of this. There is no words for how hard depression is. She needs the therapy.
@@diana56-lorient She is not judging. She is simply stating the truth that this person should not have knowingly infected others. That statement applies to everybody.. There is much mis-use of the word judging. It is as though it is always wrong to say the truth because it is judging. It is not always wrong. It is sometimes very necessary and discourages others from doing the same thing. We are living in a time when nobody must say anything about anything. We need to challenge ourselves and others.

This is lady needs therapy. She has a PTSD. She should also understand that being HIV now does not means "imminent death". HIV has became a chronic disease is it is treated.
I've never commented on a story thrice. But, their last born died due to "still birth" that is what she grew up knowing. Secondly she is now like a last born who is HIV positive. I don't know why I believe her mum gave birth to her with HIV. Why would an uncle randomly suggest for her to take a test and she hadn't been that sexually active? The dad passed on too; to me I think it is still due to HIV. Her mother hates her due to the bitterness of maybe realizing she was infected with the hubby and she is projecting that to the children. Deep down, girl its not easy but you are strong. I wish I could just hug you. Hang in there.💖💖
Yes mama, what I thought too, we are cooped in our lives and daily struggles as parents and neglect our childrens emotions and struggles 😭 we strive to be providers only
@GLORIA WADIKO - Unfortunately, some people just cannot do that, they just CANNOT 'be there' for their children. Many parents have psychological disorders, including 'Cluster B personality disorders' like Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). And many of these disorders (especially NPD) cannot really be treated or cured. People with NPD are not capable of having empathy, and are not capable of 'self-reflection'. And they are emotionally immature - they LOOK LIKE adults, but they are actually children in adult's bodies. So..... in families where there is at least one Narcissist parent (and sometimes BOTH parents are Narcissists), there will always be at least one favourite child (in psychology, this is called the 'Golden Child'), and there will also always be at least one 'Scapegoat' child. The 'Golden Child' will be spoiled, and will be treated as though they are above the rest of the children. And the 'Scapegoat' child (or children) will be treated very poorly - these Scapegoat children will be the ones that receive all of the anger, and all of the bad feelings, and all of the frustrations of the other people in the family. In Jackline's situation, there were only 2 children, and both of the children were daughters. It sounds like at first Jackline's mother chose her to be the 'Golden Child'. But then, when Jackline did something that her mother did not like, or that caused her shame.... from that moment forward, Jackline was suddenly no longer the Golden Child, and instead became the SCAPEGOAT Child. And her sister, who was once the SCAPEGOAT, Child now became the 'Golden Child'. This is very very psychologically damaging to children! There should NEVER be children in any family who are treated either ABOVE or BELOW the other children. That is child psychological abuse. And it's so so sad. Unfortunately it is also very common.
Me my mum rejected me at only two years and she got married to another man, I just grew up suffering with my grandmother with no help from my mum and my daddy died when I was just month old but I thank God so much that I didn't try to think so much about men though I was badly off and up to now am in Saudi Arabia hustling for my feature children so that they don't face the same situation I faced 😢 💔.
If you followed this girl from the beginning you'll agree if I say her problems n depression began when her mother started mistreating her n it all piled up until it eventually blew up..so sad..
Very true, as parents it's really not right to give birth to children and neglect them as they never asked you to conceive, and there's no bad kid it's the upbringing that counts

This lady is very depressed may God see her through
Yeah ave noticed haki she needs alot of healing
Please reach out and help her
So touched on heart
Do u know she must have told a lot of the men to wear protection and they will refuse to be bare that they like it that way and yet blame her. Zip up men. If u are married stay with your wife.

This is lady needs therapy. She has a PTSD. She should also understand that being HIV now does not means "imminent death". HIV has became a chronic disease is it is treated.
This is true but some people probably think that life as they know is over . God look over her
Depression is real😢. .. Too bad our society Doesn't take it seriously..
Hang in there.💖💖
I actually share the same feeling. I don't really understand why a mother would hate her own flesh n blood with such passion
I think the same too
My thoughts exactly, I feel the mother is guilty and does not want to come and tell the poor lady the truth,I also feel the mom is equally depressed.
It really makes sense
But the mother went for abroad could she be positive also?
Mothers, parents, let's listen to our children when they come to us
Yes mama, what I thought too, we are cooped in our lives and daily struggles as parents and neglect our childrens emotions and struggles 😭 we strive to be providers only
Very true
Omg help our children
Me my mum rejected me at only two years and she got married to another man, I just grew up suffering with my grandmother with no help from my mum and my daddy died when I was just month old but I thank God so much that I didn't try to think so much about men though I was badly off and up to now am in Saudi Arabia hustling for my feature children so that they don't face the same situation I faced 😢 💔.

When she says watoto wapewe condoms and pads, it really is something to think about ✅
If you followed this girl from the beginning you'll agree if I say her problems n depression began when her mother started mistreating her n it all piled up until it eventually blew up..so sad..

True,words have life,let's be careful
Very true, as parents it's really not right to give birth to children and neglect them as they never asked you to conceive, and there's no bad kid it's the upbringing that counts

She should stop blaming her past for her failures today.Let her work hard & stop playing victim.

True
That tuko madam should be a therapist she knows how to handle someone 💯
She did a fantastic job with this interview. She asked direct questions without being overbearing or judgemental despite the sensitivity nature of the interview. She also took an understanding approach where many in a similar scenario would have the tendency to put down the interviewee.
