  • This beginner - mid level tutorial shows how to create a base mesh with sub divisions egg cup holder in Blender 3.0 and then how to export the stl file over to Prusa mk3s 3d printer with some tips and tricks on how to avoid perimiter problems and how to avoid using supports when printing.
00:24 - Measure Egg 43mm (almost the meaning of life)
01:22 - Unit scale Change Unit scale from 1.0000000 to 0.01 if using milimeters
02:14 - Blender 3d modelling of egg cup holder
    04:50 - Sculpting dragon scales
06:00 - Zbrush question (Does blender have a radial brush?)
07:00 - Export to prusa slicer (selection only + apply modifiers)
10:09 - Finished 3d print and final thoughts
It took 2 hours and 45 minutes to print
    Cost:
    Filament: £0.41
    Electricity: £0.12
It costs about 16p for 1 kWh = 1000w * 60 minutes. This 3d printer runs at the most between 150w and 300w while printing. So the electrical cost is actually pretty impressively low.

Hello. I have a question. I could not import animations that consist of more than one piece in blender, such as the rotation of gear wheels, into the unreal engine. So the pieces were imported, but the animation does not work, and for animation to be an animation, they must be in their parts separately. How can I make them one piece and make the animation work? I want to. You can also suggest an instructive resource that you know. Have a nice day

If you want to export multiple gears that each have their own animation keyframes then exporting from Blender using Alembic should work nicely depending on what you are trying to do.
FBX would also work but you would need to apply each gears animation in unreal which would be a bit of a pain and take a lot longer to do.
If you have any problems with that you can upload a screen capture of what you are trying to export so I can see what the problem is.
I might do a quick tutorial on that later today if I get some time.

I generally tried fbx output. And I tried many animations, not just gear wheels, but I couldn't transfer any of them because there were more than one part. Finally, I couldn't send a picture, so I want to share the video name of my work. you tube.name: Treadmill Made Easy in Blender. that is, the treadmill animation is explained. Thank you for your attention.

@@hasanbasryand6880 Yeah exporting that treadmill as alembic should work nicely with that cloth sim + other geometry.

@@hasanbasryand6880 Hey I just recorded a quick demo to show what I mean as I have had a few people asking about this as well as alembic textures. Hope it helps you- th-cam.com/video/qOdCeV9mydI/w-d-xo.html
