The one with the peanut allergy has a bunch of incorrect information: -it was a smoothie shop -he didn't tell them his son had the allergy when ordering -he ordered a smoothie that was listed as containing peanuts
This is actually really important because now the baristas are getting flack for something they couldn't have had any fault in. Really wish this guy made that clear so that now people aren't debating about "the immature baristas"
Right?? I've seen this on multiple other accounts and they didn't get it this wrong, its disappointing for the page honestly. Makes them seem a lot more to blame than the actual person responsible :/@@yagadoobigidibobbibigabiga38
@@yagadoobigidibobbibigabiga38I’d seen this clip before but I don’t think I read up on it so never knew that not only did he fail to mention the peanut allergy, but he ordered a smoothie that specifically is listed as containing peanuts. I read another comment that said he had actually ordered a peanut butter smoothie? If that’s the case then omfg yikes. Like it’s one thing if a smoothie has the disclaimer that it may contain nuts, or even if the ingredients list on the menu states it includes peanuts. But to order a *peanut butter* smoothie and expect it not to contain peanuts it’s absurd.
@ericaschaidt8588 yeah, and I've seen other comments saying that it was a he said she said situation where he said he did specify the no peanuts thing while the baristas insist otherwise, but either way, I think regardless of that debate, him even returning to the shop to attack the baristas does not put me on his side. It should not sit right with any reasonable person to go return to the shop instead of staying with your son at the hospital and calling corporate later. That actually makes me less willing to believe that he did bring it up because clearly his decision-making skills and brain don't work in an obvious and reasonable way.

The last one sure is demoralizing. Finding out that the cops who are caught planting evidence, in multiple instances, didn't face any accountability really burns my ass. That's why so many people say F**K the police. They protect their own, unless it's a DUI arrest for some funny reason.
this angers me so much that its the reason im joining my local police department. I want to actually protect the community and make everyone feel safe, all while making sure I follow the oath to protect the civil rights of citizens and NOT violate them unless the citizens are the ones breaking the laws. I hope those people that also want to be cops for future generations also feel the same way. We need genuine people, not corrupt mfs that just want to have a power trip
@@munchimooevery cop says this. Just be the one who speaks up when you see people being wronged. And don't demoralize people for "doing your job". I could never work for our government, they're just a gang.
She did, but not until the next day, I would dare say that her not getting arrested on the spot MAY have had something to do with the police needing to watch ALL the footage first and possibly take statements from the other women first too before making any decision about how to proceed or even if to proceed and because of that intervening time she was more than legally allowed to leave the scene because she HADN'T been arrested yet, I mean she obviously was with the cops long enough for her to give him her person details otherwise they couldn't have arrested her the following day. It's just a guess so don't quote me on it, but either way it is pretty shitty and it's hard NOT to feel the racist bi*ch was either given special treatment or the cop was biased against the Indian women or he didn't believe their account of the incident at face value, or he was planning on doing nothing about it because maybe he secretly racist too agreed with the woman but then he was forced to lay charges later on by somebody higher up, hence it being the next day, personally I think it was a mixture of all of the above.
A lot of people are commenting that the first racist mexican lady was not arrested and the cop was rude to victim but she did get arrested... just not immediately... she got arrested the first thing in the morning and i can understand .... its better to have a late arrest than no arrest at all. "Mexican-American" means she's was born in Mexico, and then became American. But she said she was born in the USA, so she's just an American with Mexican parents.
honestly, If i was a cop, i can kinda understand it. Shes probably not gonna be a menace again that night, and dealing with her is probably gonna be way harder that night than the next day. its not right, but also, the fact they got her the next day, is still good im not a cop. i mistyped. I watch a lot of these videos. i do not envy the people who have to deal with anyone like that mexican lady (race only mentioned because that how she identified herself)
I couldn't believe it. He told those ladies in a rude voice backup but let the abuser stand at car. Plus she didn't get charged for assault. He probably racist too.
Most (not all) cops have immunity. They don't tell you this in public, but it's true. It's like a secret law enforcement brotherhood. That's why most of the cops who committed those racial brutalities were off on paid administrative leave (until the story blew over), and then they were back to work as if nothing happened. Only a rare few of police officers were thrown in jail.
You know, it's a really tough job they have (they're white), and that video doesn't show everything (unless you're not white, and a cop, then it's evidence against you, and to say otherwise is looked at with mocking disbelief), and they can't base their decision solely on what was clearly on camera (they ARE white), and they probably did good job up to this point (as if that's their first time planting evidence), and everybody deserves a second chance (which means they are white, and probably related to someone with clout). My problem is that if that guy defended himself, and knocked those two so-and-sos into another world, then even though they were wrong, he would still be arrested. They were trying to provoke him. That whole department needs to be investigated, and probably shut down, or completely replacing all of those cops with people who are not directly related (father-son, siblings, or in-laws); and maybe even mandatory different race partners.
They arrested her the next morning, they probably had to review everything and just were seeking to break up a public fight at that point. You are watching with all the information and videos they cops did not have that at that point. They had all the ladies information and arrested her the next day. It was the gun threat that sealed her fate.

The one with the peanut allergy has a bunch of incorrect information:
-it was a smoothie shop
-he didn't tell them his son had the allergy when ordering
-he ordered a smoothie that was listed as containing peanuts

Insane how the first woman didn’t get arrested at all. America needs a complete overhaul.

Not only did he order a smoothie that said it contained peanuts, all the second guy had to do was sue them if he really thought he was in the right, but by going in there and being violent he just gave them leverage and made things worse for himself because he decided to act on anger instead of being smart.

I'm from Ct...and the guy Mr Ianozzo did NOT specify the allergy to the staff specifically, as proven by the order slip. I followed the case closely and was surprised you reported that the allergy was specified.
Unless he ordered online, the order taker could have left the allergy off by mistake. Regardless, his behavior was unacceptable as was their response
I remember this case as well, and it was a he said-she said situation wherein the father swears he told them and the worker swears he didn't. However, if you have to lean one way or the other, would you believe the father who knows his son could die without providing said information, or a 17 year old high schooler who doesn't give a crap about anything other than themselves?
That's what one side says ironically the side that creates the order slip unless it was an online order, employees have missed information relayed to them all the time, or the young high school employee could have ignored it thinking why they would have peanuts in a fruit smoothie or simply just a simple mistake of not hitting a button, it's a he said she said situation through and through
This is good to know, because I was commenting here that I believed both were in the wrong and handled the situation poorly. Just a bad situation all around with two parties that didn't' want to take responsibility for a damn thing.
@@TheWeightsOver Honestly I'm not leaning either way.
it's such a simple mistake to have been made. He could have accidentally said "peanuts please" instead of "no peanuts please", or mumbled, or blanked on it because he was getting a text at that exact moment, or a dozen other things and since he's "always" careful about it assumed he couldn't possibly have made a mistake. It's not worth assuming anything. Maybe that 17 year old has an allergy of their own, or a family member with a severe allergy, and takes that kind of thing very seriously.
You don't know either one of them, so painting broad strokes about teenagers is useless. But only one person is raging and throwing things, and that I do see.
Honestly I’m not a huge fan of confrontation, I’m sure not a lot of ppl are too. I’m working on it, being a manager and stuff.
