If its anything like the first one (aquanauts holiday) its about underwater exploration, in the first one you could find some of the most amazing things, sunken structures, and other things I dont want to give away if you havent played it yet.
Just finished this game! Got the english version at a really good price at a game shop. I really enjoyed it, graphics are AMAZING, storyline had me intruiged and spooked, especially at the end. I highly recommend this, but to the more patient gamers, 'cause it's a game that doesn't really involve a lot of action, as you can tell. Loved it so much. And you can still continue expoloring after the credits roll, there'll still be a few side quests left.. I mean, you can never get enough, right? (:
Looks great, definitely a rental. I'm personally more excited for Afrika. Though you won't die in either. Endless ocean was boring, the missions were tidious and dry. I like seeing cities and stone hendge under water. Did the ice caps melt in this games story? Looks cool.
:) this reminds me of Ecco the Dolphin Defender of the Future, on PS2. Where is this game available? Im in the US, ide love to have it. Especially if you can play it online.
I'm just suprised they didn't go with 'Deep in the sea' as the title for the english version, to match their lovely translation of Afrika ;) Looks great tho!
Though this game looks very nice and I own it but haven't played it (with no PS3) Endless Ocean: Blue World has this thing beat 10 times! Maybe not graphically but content and size wise with over a thousand things to find and achieve there's a lot more to explore and enjoy! You can also save your photos to an SD Card which w=you can't do in this! Spend 30 bucks and pick p Endless Ocean: Blue World instead of paying over a hundred on ebay for this!

@happyhardcore13 Thats what sony wants you to think In actuality Xbox 360 and Ps3 are similar in power, at least when it comes down to how the systems work. They just do different things. Different, not better.
Erm, actually Sony doesn't come up with much stuff on their own. This was developed by Artdink, and the vast majority of their recent "arthouse" titles have been coming from outside of their internal development teams. With the exception of the offerings of Team ICO (which, granted, are certainly nothing to scoff at), I can't think of any internally-developed Sony titles which are mature beyond the "guts and tits and vroom-vroom-bang-bang" connotation of the term.
@sven209 of course ps3 is better because it's using blue-ray disc (50gb capacity) means better capacity for higher graphic quality, sound, and gameplay... compare ninja gaiden 2 (x360) and ninja gaiden sigma 2 (ps3) >> the different in graphic and gameplay are like night and day, also ff13, the fmv in ps3 is better, please be vigilant next time...

I'm sorry but this game is too much of a simpleton to be considered next gen gaming innovation and games like this are only appropriate on the WII keep this off of the PS3 please.

But the only thing, Blue World doesn't have any wrecks you can penetrate. I would've liked more puzzle/stradegy gameplay :/

@happyhardcore13 Xbox and PS3 are fairly close. My PC wins in the graphics department though. Stop making false statements such as this.

how about wii copied afrika with wild life earth african safari....add in the fact that the wii game looked tacked on
i hate when japanese have a good nice thing. and they are not sharing with us. for making the engslih version
This game is so bad it belongs on the Nintendo Wii. A sure contender for one of the worst games on ps3.
It's a novelty product with little to no practical value after the third month of use. :P
The game is outrageously bad!!! Gameplay from 1978-85....
