@@Drizzymicro For that I recommend the SHS compatible version.
Just a note guys, the SHS compatible TSG gear (second part of the video) only works with the 4th generation of SHS gearset as Maekiii says. It requires a specific screw location and a 4mm shaft - these should have the black oxide finish just like the one in the video. Gen 3 SHS gears (silver finish on sector/piston half) have the correct screw locations but only use a 3mm shaft so they will not work.
Also on top of that in gen 3 SHS the cutoff feature is part of the top half rather than the bottom half as in gen4, so for that reason alone it does not fit.

I think with how the TSG has become possible, a 10-11T DSG could probably be made to work. Granted, it might not work for super high 60+ rps builds because of pme, but it should work for 30-45 rps I would think.

@@Maekiii thx man I've also been thinking of building the worlds first quadruple sector gear or QSG, do you reckon it's possible for it to run well?
@@demonetizedhistory5806 I modeled one and turns out he longest stroke you can have with that is 2 teeth. So its not really doable.
@@Maekiii holy shit you actually tried making one, that's sick. But yeah maybe it's not as realistic as I thought I guess the furthest I can go is a TSG.
My one-piece TSG arrived, and the texture is very rough. Do I polish prior to installing? It feels like it'll eat through my tappet.
Hi, yes the stainless material is very rough. I recommend polishing it with a rotary tool/dremel before using.

What spurs are compatible with the one piece tsg?
basically all 16:1 and 18:1 spur gears. Also siegetek 10:1 and 14:1. SHS under 16:1 does NOT.
