Follow up test with real club PhiGolf2 VS GC3 Real Club Test - Can It Match Up? th-cam.com/video/kBts9yf3aJc/w-d-xo.html Hey All, Black Friday Sale from Nov 17th -30th Poducts Links Phigolf 2: amzn.to/47zuaQL Phigolf World Tour Edition: amzn.to/3uhYa5p
Great follow up follow up. I just ordered one. Question for ya: Does the PhiGolf2 affect your swing with a regular club long term? It looked like it might’ve taken your body a couple swings to get used to it again. Great vid mate!
Just discovered your channel today, and enjoying the various episodes especially the Tuff scooter, given that I have a skateboard caddie. Can you tell me what is the length of the bike. It seems smaller compared to my brother golf bike, looking at trading in my skateboard caddy for a bike. I see that Ron Chopper was in S E Queensland recently, and didn't take up your challenge. 🤣
Hi David, Thanks for your series in PhiGolf 2. I think the tracers from a previous session can be removed by tapping tracer on/off. Middle left at the bottom of the screen. Cheers, David
Another really good phigolf result for what the product is. I seem to have concluded that using your actual driver with the sensor worked seemingly more accurately when you hadn't selected "use real clubs" or do I have that wrong? Also CHS on Phigolf was around 90 mph with 7-iron (which seems reasonable) but only in the 104-107 mph range with driver (which seems low from what I know of your game) even though you were producing some 300+ yd. drives (as measured by Phigolf) with it. Interestingly, with the driver across multiple videos, the swing stick produces very similar CHSs as are produced with the actual club so that's encouraging even though the CHS itself seems a little low with that club. So far my conclusion is that you are really getting great bang for your buck with this thing and especially perhaps if you already have a reasonably technically sound swing and relatively decent ball striking. I've seen a lot of great reviews, some very good ones, and some mediocre and poor ones and I'm thinking that those might be the pivotal factors in explaining the differences. Thank again for the comparision. Cheers.
Thanks Tim, yes definitely a great value for money product. It won’t replace an actual launch monitor and I don’t think that is the intention but value for money with accurate numbers, it’s a great piece of tech
Another top show David, would be interesting to see the results of someone who has a very high handicap hitting the small stick, do you know anyone who could help, keep them coming mate.
Just found these videos and showed them to a couple of my mates, i work away at sea and the idea of being able to download courses, and go play a few rounds with the lads after work sounds good to me, out of curiosity, how much headroom do you think you need to have to swing it? We are obviously limited because of how ships are built.
Can you show the PhiGolf with bad swings, I would really be interested in how it works with high handicappers and possible open/closed, inside-out/outside-in swings. Basically people with not so experienced and consistant swing paths and see how they actually register with the sensor compared to high end simulator. Basically, will owning this improve your swing path, tempo, etc? Or will it register a near perfect swing each time. Can you hit fades, slices, draws, or hooks? Can you top or chunk the ball?
There's quite a few other reviews which show those things as well. I think all practise will help you get better 😁 but it's not a trackman or anything and priced as such
David What is the difference between the phigolf 2 and the phi golf world tour? I like the access to more courses in world tour but if the phigolf 2 is better then I like that one
If you’re looking for something that’s going to be an actual golf simulator where you can analyse every number than the Garmin is different than PhiGolf but PhiGolf shines in low ceiling areas where you can’t swing a normal club
I just got my PhiGolf 2 last night, and I've found that unless I completely hold my swing off, my clubface is like -7 closed. Am I having a set up issue or is this something that is just in my swing. I'm not that big of a draw ball hitter IRL, in fact Im more of a fade to straight hitter. I hope this don't screw up my game in anyway.
Both pronunciations are acceptable, the girls (sororities) pronounce it "fee," as in (fe)male, it's 2023 don't ya know. (sarc) "Fie" for phi is the original Greek translation although "fee" has become just as popular among-st us and not just for the girls anymore.

Phigolf 2: amzn.to/47zuaQL
Phigolf World Tour Edition: amzn.to/3uhYa5p
Using this in my little townhome to hone in my club path and face angle has been useful. It also helps my stamina because I’m swinging everyday now.
So good to hear!!
I am doing the exact same thing! I think that's the biggest benefit for the phi golf
That’s awesome

Thanks mate and actually it helped my swing drop inside more 😁

I loved the bike, amazing fun. Definitely recommend those. Ron did offer to play but I was travelling to Sydney for work 😩 I’ll go to WA lol 😂

Thanks mate, I’ll try that and see if that works, that would be awesome if it did.

Thanks Paul, and that test would be interesting. Maybe in another video I can try rope someone in haha 😁

The actual stick is so small and works great. I’m 6’4 and I can swing it comfortably in a 2.6m ceiling at home
Buying one of these now lol. Ty for the thorough review on this!
You’ll love it, they’re great

These reviews of this have definitely swayed me to get one of these until i can sack up and get a real launch monitor/sim
Haha you will like this
David

I believe the sensor should work just as accurately with both but the world tour is a little more expensive and offers a few more features and courses
I had the same question. Amazon the world tour is way cheaper. I didn’t know of the sensors were the same or difference in playability.
@@fatputtsgolf sorry I think I got it the wrong way around. The PhiGolf2 has more features
@@davidmaxfieldgolf sounds like we need a comparison video! 😁
@@fatputtsgolf true!
Really hoping you’ll try Golf+ on the Quest 3 with a DeadeyeVR or similar VR stick.
If I can get it then happy to 😁 Ricky in Aus

Im considering getting the phi golf but am worried I’ll just wish I spent a little more for the garmin r10

Just make sure the sensor is lined up correctly and square to the clubface 😁
Could you use the attachment included on Phigolf 2 insert it on the top of the club and hit a real ball with GC and compare them?
Yes you can but the sensor doesn’t go into my clubs as they have a stopper at the end 😔 I found that out in the last video
@@davidmaxfieldgolfborrow some clubs😊 would be very interested
@@kevinconnolly754 could be the next test
Should put the sensor in a club at the same time hit a ball while both recording.
Did that in this video

where can you buy in AUS mate
You can buy them online with the link in the description 😁
You should really try it with E6.
Could be a good video
the true test it hit a bad ball on purpose to see if actually punishes you for a bad swing
Video coming
says unavailable
Ahh bummer😫 they will restock soon
It’s funny tho your swing is much shorter and flatter hitting actual balls than the Phi
Yes I thought that was also interesting
It's a shame that so many TH-cam golfing channels are turning into QVC.
Not sure what QVC is but if it makes us more money to produce the content we love to produce then I’m in
Phi is not Phee .
No it’s apparently “Pie”
