Austin, I can’t begin to describe how much I enjoy your videos. I will say watching them that you boys freeze me to death. I miss getting to go catfishing and have lots of memories. I never went in the Winter was always afraid I’d get to cold. Please stay safe and please keep making these wonderful videos. I’m disabled and your videos help me a lot. Thank you very much for your time.😊😊
Left up to Austin, it'd be sardines for breakfast, sardines for lunch, sardines for a snack, and sardines for supper. If they're good, smoked oysters for dessert. I'm glad you guys were still catching fish!
Hahaha you're probably right...but I've evolved! Nowadays I'll have some sardines and oysters for snacks but at least some sausage or hot dogs for something hot to eat!
Loved it Austin, brought back a lot of memories. I just wanted to share this, when my oldest grandson was 4, I took him bream fishing on the dam at Lake Wilhemina. He had a Snoopy little kids pole with old 6 pound line. It was around the 4th of July and hot. Gunner was turning rocks over and catching small crawdads for bait. I was casting out for him and part of the time, setting the hook for him. It was the last cast, he was hot and tired but he had a bite. I set the hook and handed it back to him. It felt good, I thought maybe a pound or two at best. The fish would take most of his line and I would reel most of it back and give the little pole back to him. Gunner got tired of it and so I began to actually try to get the fish in. Then it came and rolled on the surface, a way bigger fish. Now I was worried about the old 6 pound test breaking and really took it easy. I had to step down into the water to carefully grab it but the blue weighed 32 lbs on a little flimsy kid's pole, Gunner was with me when I caught the 76# blue. He is 25 now and has never forgotten them. Your making a lot of memories except you have yours recorded. keep em coming
It's funny they state you can't land catfish using monofilament fishing line. Last year, I caught several nice catfish. It was tough this year water was really warm warmer than usual. This caused a problem with water levels and lack of rain. Lately, it's now winter we've been getting tons of rain. Spring comes fishing and will be a lot better. 😊 I'll end up having a year like the year previous to the summer that passed better numbers and quality fish catches, I feel. This year will be awesome 😊
