The voice acting of the Germans in the Indiana Jones game is actually good. Usually, it's Americans doing a poor attempt at doing a German accent, but here they have actual German VAs.

Turn-based combat systems are a “well, I’ll play it IN SPITE of the combat system” not “I’ll play it because of the combat system” kind of deal. There has never been a game where it being turn-based has made the overall experience better, and I will die on this hill. We’re not playing a board game like RISK or Settlers of Catan here… Our PCs/consoles aren’t shit anymore. We don’t need the same crutches that older games needed.

@@kotaserrill PC Gamepass is only 10 as you don't need ultimate for the online sub portion like the console. But for both PC and console, you can use their microsoft rewards thing to earn back most if not all of the cost of the sub each month. It used to be insane, easily earning 3 months worth of sub a month without even having ultimate and the console challenges, but they nerfed it a ton recently... but still it can help cut that sub cost in half or so, which as you can see from this reveal event is pretty incredible value vs buying really any other digital games.

Pingu looks smoother than that Midnight game. If everything, from characters to objects was low fps like in _Callisto Protocol_ then i wouldn't have a problem. _Midnight's_ cutscenes are 60 fps, the main character is at low fps and background objects are also at 60, it feels off.

Good framerate is more about how the game feels to play - not how choppy it looks (which can and is often masked with motion blur effects). That's why it's so sad Bloodborne is stuck on PS4 at 30 frames - because it FEELS god awful compared to smooth 60. It's always LOOKED fine, though.

From the top of my head, the only shows I think are on the same level as this Xbox one was that Sony E3, I think 2015, when they revealed FFVII Remake, Shenmue 3 and Spider-Man PS4 and Nintendo's 2014 E3 when they revealed Amiibos, Splatoon, Mario Maker and Zelda BOTW. Legendary stuff.

2 points on South of Midnight that some may not know about. 1 - It's called "stop animation" not bad frame rate. 2 - The game was announced 1 year ago which, and this is true, wasn't 3 years ago.

The Expedition 33 footage had me so hyped but sad that folks were reacting poorly to the combat! Dude It's skill-based turn-based. It's Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. Select the move you want to do then you have to execute it within a certain window for bonus damage or effects. Perfect parrying added on that breathes modern life into turn-based combat! Boil it down to "quick time events = bad, I wish it was action-combat" if you want but I think it'll be sick. Urge y'all to try more turn-based RPG's they're very fun when done well.

Mecha Break is sick. Anyone who loves Armored Core especially the last one that came out is going to love this if they like PvP. I reached rank 1 as Luminae which was the only support in the last beta and loved every single minute of the game with the boys. Rocking a team that has the same colors looks so awesome, we ran red, white and blue and the mechs just look so good. Easily the number 1 PvP game coming soon that me and the boys are looking forward to especially after playing it. Just wish it was coming out before 2025... big sad.

Expedition 33 and Perfect Dark easely stole the show for me, two titles I had no expectations for and they blow me away. Especially Expedition 33...the balls of doing a single player turn based game in this day and age with that production value, and it's a new IP.
Expedition 33 looks amazing and I can't wait to play it! While I'm not the biggest fan of turn-based combat, I don't mind the game having that kind of combat and actually kind of like it! I like seeing a game do something different, especially in this case, a triple A game (an indie studio with a triple A budget). One thing that really stuck out to me in this trailer/game specifically is the music, it sounds so damn good! If it's like that for the rest of the game then I'm sold!

@@kotaserrill PC Gamepass is only 10 as you don't need ultimate for the online sub portion like the console. But for both PC and console, you can use their microsoft rewards thing to earn back most if not all of the cost of the sub each month. It used to be insane, easily earning 3 months worth of sub a month without even having ultimate and the console challenges, but they nerfed it a ton recently... but still it can help cut that sub cost in half or so, which as you can see from this reveal event is pretty incredible value vs buying really any other digital games.

First of all, the major publishers have a ton to do with the success of gaming and even indie gaming. Without these companies making money, no one would be giving ANY money to new studios or small teams to make games. It just wouldn't happen.

If everything, from characters to objects was low fps like in _Callisto Protocol_ then i wouldn't have a problem. _Midnight's_ cutscenes are 60 fps, the main character is at low fps and background objects are also at 60, it feels off.

Good framerate is more about how the game feels to play - not how choppy it looks (which can and is often masked with motion blur effects). That's why it's so sad Bloodborne is stuck on PS4 at 30 frames - because it FEELS god awful compared to smooth 60. It's always LOOKED fine, though.

The Expedition 33 footage had me so hyped but sad that folks were reacting poorly to the combat! Dude It's skill-based turn-based. It's Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. Select the move you want to do then you have to execute it within a certain window for bonus damage or effects. Perfect parrying added on that breathes modern life into turn-based combat!
Boil it down to "quick time events = bad, I wish it was action-combat" if you want but I think it'll be sick. Urge y'all to try more turn-based RPG's they're very fun when done well.

Mecha Break is sick. Anyone who loves Armored Core especially the last one that came out is going to love this if they like PvP. I reached rank 1 as Luminae which was the only support in the last beta and loved every single minute of the game with the boys. Rocking a team that has the same colors looks so awesome, we ran red, white and blue and the mechs just look so good. Easily the number 1 PvP game coming soon that me and the boys are looking forward to especially after playing it. Just wish it was coming out before 2025... big sad.

The crazy thing about her is that the real life model doesn't look ugly like her at all. They literally scanned her face in and then uglified her for the wokies.

Expedition 33 and Perfect Dark easely stole the show for me, two titles I had no expectations for and they blow me away. Especially Expedition 33...the balls of doing a single player turn based game in this day and age with that production value, and it's a new IP.

Expedition 33 looks amazing and I can't wait to play it! While I'm not the biggest fan of turn-based combat, I don't mind the game having that kind of combat and actually kind of like it! I like seeing a game do something different, especially in this case, a triple A game (an indie studio with a triple A budget). One thing that really stuck out to me in this trailer/game specifically is the music, it sounds so damn good! If it's like that for the rest of the game then I'm sold!
