In the following video, we’d like to present the vision behind the brand as well as the individual production steps until their watches' completion. According to Peter Stas, Founder and CEO, the brand's philosophy is quite simple: “In two simple words: Accessible Luxury”. Ever since the company’s founding in 1988, the creation of timeless designs at affordable prices is particularly (but not only) addressed to younger watch enthusiasts.
The brand also offers a collection of watches with in-house calibres. Especially, the Slim-Line Collection as well as the Heartbeat model have become integral part of the brand’s portfolio. From simple hand winding movements to minute repeaters, all of these watches are assembled per hand within Frederique Constant’s four walls.

Frederique Constant Slim Line Moonphase Blue (0:49)
This stunning Frederique Constant moonphase watch is part of the Manufacture collection and employs the inhouse-made calibre FC 705. The dial looks amazing together with the mercury blue sky of the moonphase indicator. As mentioned above, almost all watches listed here employ an inhouse caliber. The date is indicated by a small hand that circulates the moonphase subdial. Using an additional hand for the date is usually found in watches that feature full or perpetual calenders. The watch measures 42 mm and comes on a black kroko leather strap.
Frederique Constant Worldtime Manufacture Blue (0:58)
This worldtime watch manages to be fully functional without the need for a rotating bezel or a second pusher/crown. By doing so, Frederique Constant has preserved the classic and elegant look for their Worldtimer series. This model has a case measurement of 42 millimeters and captivates with its breathtaking looks and a stunning dark blue dial.

I just bought my boyfriend a Frederique Constant Classic today for our 4 year anniversary.
It’s a beautiful, but simple watch.
I love what these guys do and what they stand for. Accessible luxury - opening up opportunities to get people to be more passionate about horology is a great cause. I also love that they treat Swiss watch making heritage with reverence and dignity. I just ordered my first Frederique Constant, they certainly earned a spot in my collection to sit along side with Longines, Omega, and Tudor. Keep up the great work FC! This is good stuff.

I purchased the Worldtimer model FC-718WM4H6 while in Perth Australia and I love the watch. Traveling between Australia and the US allowed me to track time during stops in Dubai, Houston, and Perth AU. Thank you Mr. Stas for producing a quality watch at a nice price level. As the owner of 30+ time pieces, my Worldtimer from Frederique is my favorite.

I always thought it was amazing how they started and steered this company during a difficult time of the quartz crisis (maybe it should have been called the mechanical recession). Many long storied companies went under during that time. Frederique Constant is credible and here to stay in the luxury watch category.

I love my FC though the design is a little derivative (but which is also why it looks so good. My boss who wears a Jaeger thought mine was too from a distance). Would like to see them develop more proprietary designs. They need an iconic design...that is the true mark of a luxury watch brand.

I always adored the classic designs of Vacheron Constantin and JLC and Patek Philippe. But the fact that even if I could rob a bank and buy one:), I knew could not wear any of those brands on regular basis mainly because of the fear of damaging at some point..
Once that reality has struck me, I was hopeless.. Then one day, I saw the elegant Frederic Constant watches. Now I feel happier..
It's a philosophy, not an ideology. They're a watch brand, not a political movement or religion.

Speaking of precision: If these guys left large gaps in their watches as you do around your commas and periods, they would fall apart as soon as you try to put them on. You leave exactly one space after each comma and period, not before them and not multiple ones.

These guys are making their own movements, which is... fantastic 🤗💟 Of course the masses won't care much but I call it consistency and very ambitious. My next watch will be a Constant! Have 26 G-Shocks now (which took away the joy of wearing true Swiss), 2 Tags (am never wearing them) and 1 Victorinox Alliance Automatic black ⚫ which idk why I... love.

Hi, the FC-303 movement found in the FC-303M4P6B3 is based on either the ETA-2824 or Sellita SW200, which is explained in one of our videos: ow.ly/ntQ1303YZJP. FC in-house movements are found in the Manufacture collection. Hope we were able to help.

@@Montredo i can relate, their leather isn't as good as other bigger watch making maufacturer, it's kinda hard to explain.

And Orient Sun and Moon look similar, have just as good of a movement if not better, and cost a fraction.
yes, there are many brands with good value for money.
Orient is great value, but the quality is not near up to par with FC, they’re inspired by Bregeut and make watches that compete with luxury. Also, the Orient literally just shows AM & PM, not the proper 29.5 day moon phase.

Frédérique Constant is derived from the names of the great-grandparents, Frédérique Schreiner and Constant Stas, of each founder.
I would rather have a seiko than an fc. I mean cmon fc has never made a contribution to the watch world seiko is a way more prestigious brand than fc plus a spring drive grand seiko is way more technical and way better made than any fc if you think any other way youre delusional
