    Respected Sir...nicely explained...sir, I have a doubt...Is Glutathione reductase not expressed during ferroptosis? If it is constitutively expressed then why the conversion of GSSH(oxidized) to GSH(reduced) is not optimum and the amount of GSH is reduced, which inactivates GPX-4, the regulator of ferroptosis. Please answer. Thank you!

    Sir ,doesn’t the lipid peroxidase damage the cell membrane ?how the cell death happens if the cell membrane is intact and cell is normal? Is it because of mitochondrial damage¿

    Hello sir ...Thank you for your fluid explanation. I just have a doubt that if lipid peroxidation occurs it means there must be cell membrane damage . But why doesn't it happen so . Does ferroptosis causes inflammation like necroptosis and pyroptosis ? and is ferroptosis only pathological or do they have any physiological effects.

      it will eventually cause inflammation. lipid peroxidation will cause CM damage without rupture. They are pathological

    Sir how is cell membrane intact in Ferroptosis. Lipid peroxidation causes membrane dysfunction and loss of permeability. Please reply sir students are getting confused

      means physically memb is intact but membrane permeabilty will be damaged
