Thanks for posting. Considering bamboo for privacy line, many questions.
I am in Mon. County NJ.
1. Is this expensive?
2. Is there a planting season?
3.What type bamboo thrives in NJ?
4. Can you recommend a pro, if I can't handle this?

I am thinking about installing the barriers to contain the bamboo, but saw your video and looks like the barrier is not working effectively to keep the bamboo contained?

I thought if you have a 36" barrier the Rhizome cannot go under that. So that is not the case? You mentioned they are laying clay in the bottom. I reside in Georgia which is known for having clay everywhere. I recognized your voice from those Airstream videos you're posted.

So was your barrier not deep enough? Is that why rhizomes went under? How deep was it?

The barrier is 5' deep. Have not had trouble since this video.
