Hi Patrick. I cannot be the only person who wishes the inside layout would be shown first. If I don't like the layout, I cross it off, and having to sit through all the exterior and garage features just to get to the basic plan is very frustrating. If I do like the layout, all the rest will be very interesting to me. How does everyone else feel about this?
Agree..lets see the inside and then go outside so we can move on if we don't want to watch all the details of the lift, wrap, bench, tires, etc..love the layout..
This is by far one of the best layouts I've seen. My 6'1" wife and I (5'6"), are always talking about multiple zone living; someone is sick, 2 separate sleeping areas, 2 dogs (with the pocket door you could easily lock them in the bedroom but even better with that roll up garage door you could have a dog den set up under the bed to get them out of the way if you wanted to have some foot free space or a couple people over for dinner. While we do appreciate more windows the feeling from inside while you were filming was fantastic so I don't think more windows would be needed. Really like the layout of this van really well done.
Is it possible to include the cost and how much time it took for the total project . Love your channel ! I like how you let the owner explain their features/build and all the different types of builds !
Way to go, Tim! You did a great job on this van! Well planned out and very pretty. I love the size of that sink and the flip up counter! ❤🙏 Jane. Thanks, Patrick, for always bringing us great info!
I keep seeing people make comments like this about mounting CO alarms down low, but when I search the interwebs for any details I can only find sources saying it's untrue. LPG / natural gas alarms should be placed low, however.
Nice quality interior work. I like the different textures, the wood, the tile, Corian tops. Smart to have the soft cabinets above the bed. I cant decide if I like separate areas or an open concept. There are good reasons for both.
Love it. Great build, vey well planned out. Really love the separate bedroom, and the soft shelving(?). If you feel too closed in, you can take it in and out as you go along.
The garage is fabulous! It's so well organized with everything neatly tucked away, yet so easy to access. The interior color is sleek and fun. The storage is plentiful. The exterior is awesome too! Thanks for the tour.
Hey Patrick! What nice van. I like the coloring throughout. The pocket door is fantastic. I really like how they split up the living space. Very nice. Enjoyed going through this with you guys! Have a great weekend!! ❤️💜💚
A VERY crowded van - not conducive to a welcoming feeling IMO. Back in the 1970's in UK we had a Ford Transit van with over-the-cab space for kids' sleeping, and it was light & bright & felt really welcoming (we slept 2 of us & 4 small children in there) - not too much gadgetry in it, but we had a toilet in a corner 'closet', sink & cooker with cupboards, and the usual seats & table arrangement that dropped down into a double bed. I think this fancy model with so many features is far less 'friendly' than that old model of ours !!! There's barely space to stand or move around in this fancy one, and the color scheme is dark & horrible AFAIC ! Sorry - not for me, and no doubt it costs a pretty fortune for all those added features ! The only features I actually like is that protruding window area that gives a wider feel inside, and the front seats rotating into the 'cabin' area !
Love the design, but all those plywood cabinets and solid wood planking on the walls and ceiling has to be super heavy. I'd be concerned about losing cargo capacity with all that wood weight. It s also very brave to spend all that money building on a 180,000 mile chassis. I hope it holds up for you!
I’ve lived in my 20’ Transit for 5 years. Would find this layout very tight and claustrophobic. The toilet here is like an afterthought but in real life, its as critical as a stove. For two people, I couldn’t do it! Way too tight, Even with the wasted space of a dinette. It’s easy to recognize when the builder is not a van lifer. Just doesn’t understand the day to day of the lifestyle.

Fast forward
My thoughts exactly. If the video is about the layout then show it first. That’s why we’re watching.
As a woman I love the inside tour myself. The outside is important but at least it's short!
He should add chapters to the videos so we can easily jump to the section we want to watch, instead of fast forwarding

The pocket door is a game changer and going forward we have been implementing more of them in our design.

We also have a permanent bed with a dinette in our transit van because 50% of us want to get up early and 50% want to stay in bed.😂
Very nice , totally agree with not having a inside shower is a way to use space for other things, good luck 👍
It is a trade-off but it works!

Thank you. This was a fun build and Tim was a great customer
Fabulous layout. Decor and materials used - perfect. Exceptional presentation.
Thank you we appreciate you enjoying what we do!
What a well designed van! Simply beautiful
Thank You!
Cool stuff. One thing, Carbon Monoxide is heavier than air, it builds up from the ground, so it's best to place the alarm at ground level.

I like the soft cabinets too. They're a game changer.

L track and soft cabinets are a great alternative that we love to use.
Your channel is a place where quality always comes first. Thank you for your talent and professionalism!🔷👒🙄

Another great feature Patrick. I admire the compartmentalized living spaces. Fun pop of color with the blue.
Great feedback ❤️

It's so cozy!
Wow! That’s a nice layout. The quality of the work is amazing. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks! It's a lot of fun.
Very nice, beautiful build
I appreciate that!
Love the privacy sliding door for the late sleeper 😅
The best!
I agree about the portable shower with a shower pan in the floor for those times showering outdoors or at a gym, etc., was not possible.😊✝️🇨🇦
Nice design but I would have made a shower a must, however I do like the interior a lot.
You do you!
Wow!! Great ideas!!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Thank You
Very nice built !!! Thanks 👍
It’s a dream come true!
Very nice! Thanks for the tour.

I'm glad you like it!
Glad they like. Congratulations!
They do!
A good one. Thanx.
I like a full bath room but its very nice
❤Love it++++
I agree
6:50 for interior part
Have you considered installing a collapsible hideaway shower?
Do Sprinters make 8 cylinder conversion vans? I know the 170 is a 4 cylinder and with all that weight inside, how well does the Sprinter handle it?
Tnx

Fabulous build and colour scheme! What was the name of that toilet?
I love it. Want for nothing in this design.
Nice tour Patrick! Do you have socks in that blue shade???? 😜
Yes I do!
Beautiful conversion, another.Everybody has $20301000 to spend up at a 4 or $5000 conversion.
Are we really like your videos
Is it a rear wheel drive with raised suspension?
Also what approx mileage?
Nice van
Rear wheel with an agile RIP kit suspension upgrade. 180k miles.

You're primarily microwavers so no cook top system? Certainly fine, only curious.
They have an induction cooktop. He mentioned it when he was outside the van.
@tammierandall864 Thanks. I missed that.
For Tim he wanted to not have a permanent stovetop so he had max counter space but also the ability to but it on the outside tray.
Is this size and L3 or L
Details on toilet brand please?
Wrappon

Got the feeling his girlfriend was just 'in the way'.😢
Proprietary $1.70 per toilet bag? Ouch!
There are hacks for it
Redefining, shit where you sleep
Ha
Claustrophobic.
Great layout
Pretty cool!
Thank You
