Most likely Alex was the second shooter but Oswald was the one who got caught. And the reason why Alex didn’t even know he did it was because Hudson said that for a small period of time Mason went dark. So probably during that time his programming kicked in and he was like a machine following it’s orders without question
I just finished the game, but i doubt he is the second shooter, but probably the guy who command the real second shooter, because in the photo he dressed like some intel or president’s bodyguard.

I played it when I was like 9-10. Now I'm reliving it, and it's made sense of why I hate certain things. I have difficulty trusting people. I hate getting put under for surgeries/procedures (to be fair, I think most people struggle with that). After reliving this as an adult, I'm so upset that I subjected myself to this content at such a young age. It was truly horrifying and far too psychologically dark to experience at that age. (At least in my opinion) don't get me wrong, it's certainly a compelling story that's well written, but reliving this is genuinely stress inducing. So I'm glad I'm not alone in experiencing it too young 😂

There was so much going on with this campaign. The story was sinister and complex, and the characters had depth to them. The whole thing was just so dramatic and cool. To think that Black Ops 4 isn't even going to HAVE a single player campaign is fucking sad.

This game was truly amazing. I was born after the cold war. Never did I live through the dread of ww3 or nuclear war. This game really put you in the cold war feel and all the black operations made you feel the gravity and tense environment. Sadly, the sequels have simply failed to recreate the dread that I went through in BO1
My parents were born almost right after the Cold War and my dad said in in his youth he always discussed the possibility of another World War starting with Russia and The US. But that was after he migrated Here, he was born in Mexico; a country that shouldn’t even worry about a nuclear war
I didn't expect the incredible plot twists in the game. Great campaign. Plus what's interesting is that Gary Oldman, the man who voiced Reznov, played Lee Harvey Oswald in the movie JFK and then he is a a badass game that involves Kennedy's assassination.

This was the best mission ever in a COD campaign. I was just lost for words when it was revealed Reznov died at Vorkuta. I don't think another COD campaign will ever reach this standard of excellence again. Ghosts and the new MW campaign were amazing, but not up to the level of the BO1 campaign.

I always love this call of duty due to the supernatural like nature of it, it wasn’t just action, there was story, twists, characters that felt like brothers in arms, there are so many more words for this.

This game was truly amazing. I was born after the cold war. Never did I live through the dread of ww3 or nuclear war.
This game really put you in the cold war feel and all the black operations made you feel the gravity and tense environment. Sadly, the sequels have simply failed to recreate the dread that I went through in BO1
My parents were born almost right after the Cold War and my dad said in in his youth he always discussed the possibility of another World War starting with Russia and The US. But that was after he migrated Here, he was born in Mexico; a country that shouldn’t even worry about a nuclear war

I didn't expect the incredible plot twists in the game. Great campaign. Plus what's interesting is that Gary Oldman, the man who voiced Reznov, played Lee Harvey Oswald in the movie JFK and then he is a a badass game that involves Kennedy's assassination.

@Jord the new voice actor is awful. Most of the voice acting is mediocre at best as well. In the first two black ops the actors put so much feeling into what they say in cold war they just sound like they are reading a script

Man. Sam Worthington’s performance is seriously commendable, you can really hear the raw emotion and confusion in his voice when he escapes the interrogation room...
BO1: Incredibly detailed and consistent with a HUGE twist that clears everything up
BO2: Simple story but executed well
BO3: Extremely confusing story that isn't cleared up, relies on a TH-cam video to appreciate
BO4: hahaha two minute cutscenes have fun

This campaign blew my mind the first time I played it and I still think it’s at the top of CoD games.
Arguably still one of the best and unsettling campaigns in any Call of Duty entry. Mason’s one of my favourite characters to this day.
I still refuse to believe that Reznov died in Vorkuta like after all the fightings and sufferings he did for the motherland. He deserves a peaceful life.
After playing the Wii version first, actually controlling Mason in this level was... Really bizarre.
Holy shit same, bet seeing the actual proper graphics was a trip too, it was for me

This was such a good scene from the game when i was a kid. I was surprised and sad that Victor reznov has been dead, he seemed so powerful with his words.

This scene made BO1 the best CoD, even though I have more love for MW2. Fucking deep, awesome. You have to untangle so much shit to get to the core of it. Brilliant. I am convinced that someone who was in charge of the story had experience with psychedelics.

This was the best mission ever in a COD campaign. I was just lost for words when it was revealed Reznov died at Vorkuta. I don't think another COD campaign will ever reach this standard of excellence again. Ghosts and the new MW campaign were amazing, but not up to the level of the BO1 campaign.
