- God designed marriage with the end in mind and has a unique vision for each couple to be happy, fulfilled, thriving, and flourishing. God designed marriage for spouses to count the cost and be willing to serve each other for the rest of their lives. The legacy we leave through our marriage is more important than ourselves. The crisis has the capacity of bringing couples closer together if they guard the spirit of their marriage. We are not to close up our affections and spirits from each other but be the other’s best friend in Him. If we truly understood what Jesus actually did when He forgave us, we would not withhold forgiveness from our spouses as forgiveness enables them to change. The vision for our marriage covenant has to be bigger than us. A contract (drawn out of distrust) will shrink our movements and a covenant (everything that is mine is yours and everything that is yours is mine) will enlarge our movements. Write out the end of your story in the beginning as God listens to your dreams. Get a vision for your marriage.

I needed this so badly! I have been on the brink of divorcing my husband. The past year and a half have been so hard. Tragedies have led to countless disagreements and fights. Two days ago I started watching some of your videos and it has totally changed my mind. It is time for me to tell my husband I forgive him, pray that the lord will change his heart for the lords glory and allow my husband to grow without me nagging for change. Forgive me Sister, but Im going to be harsh here. First ask God to change YOUR heart! That will give Him a chance to work in your life and make you realise you need to ask your husband for forgiveness. Then the Holy Spirit will work in your heart and grant you growth. God bless!

Thank you both. Praise God, you are both a powerful testimony. I am 33yo & for my life, my Parents have looked like an IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION. For anyone out there, for my Patents it looks IMPOSSIBLE. But, I believe with GOD all things are possible. We are still in the valley, but I believe GOD will do a miracle.

Let me ask you a question...in the bible did prophets prophecy over the desires/personal needs of people? NO!!! Prophets came to people or cities with a Word of REPENTANCE or else they would be punished...please ready Hebrews 1...in the past God spoke to us through the prophets; today he speaks to us through his SON/the Word...not through false teachers giving false prophecies over us. It might seam real but it's not...it isn't biblical. These are false teachers folks!!! For so many reasons. Part of the NAR cult.

All those couples ...if they knew ( if they were raised to ) always SPEAK UP on all questions... And not swallow and pile up... If they were EDUCATED, TRAINED to speak up freely but respectfully about all they have to say and also to be CONCIOUS which filters to reality, projections, fake, distorted visions are carring with them and why ( where exactly they are coming from ) ...all would be better and easier.

Hi John & Lisa, I thanks the lord for putting your books in front of me. I just would like to ask you... do you have book in Spanish language? I want my family and friends to read them as well but they can’t understand English. I am a translator but I think you need be called by the Lord to translate these book ... I just finished reading “The fear of the Lord” and would like for everyone I know to read it, it does really change your life and get you closer to the Lord.

Could you, in these seminars, address the abusive, controlling spouse and stress how Christ loves the church? Most of these spouses see no reason to change and even think what is happening is BIBLICAL!! And refuse to counsel and won't invest. Abuse is not always seen in bruises and fractures of the body but deeply painful in the emotions and affects the spirituality of the other.

If you aren't in a church to help your mind sane it is hell on earth in your marriage. Only Jesus can keep your marriage strong not your flesh. Churches should minister to marriage a lot in order the family be strong but they don't. They only try to teach the women and not the men so if you get the head straight the rest will follow I thought. Yeah I don't know maybe I don't know some people shouldn't marry because it could get so bad . We are not married in heaven the soul can get messed up so bad that the soul will backslid
