Deuce v Softail Standard: bullet style fork lowers, increased rake, longer tank, stretched frame, rear fender, solid rear wheel, lower weight, increased ride height, higher seat, longer wheelbase, bar risers/bar, slightly more lean angle, higher degree of fit and finish.. All together, the changes make for the best handling Softail of it's generation and for a totally unique Softail. It's one hell of a bike, and if more people had gotten to ride them it would have sold better. It is The Best Softail of it's generation of Softails.
I ride a Deuce and have since 08. My first one was taken out by a 4x4 GMC that crossed into my lane. During my recovery, I examined my options. Finally told the wife”I wasn’t done with that bike!”
I have a black 05 Deuce got it about 3 or 4 yrs ago. They are awesome bikes.I think mine has 10444 miles on it.They are pretty comfortable.iv road mine over 900 miles on a couple of road trips. As long as they are maintained and taken care of they will go until you got to stop to fill up the tank. Its a shame they stopped making them.
04 yellow.1st Harley. 2nd owner.9,500 miles when I bought it.14,400 and still sharp w upgrade seat pegs and backrest 4 wife. Shield and she is sweet to ride w tunes to boot. Head turner everywhere I go.2nd week got me a trophy n not been to a show yet but went to check others for fun. Can say I'll prob trike it n love my 1st hd 4 life
I have an 07 with Big Bore 103 and stage 3. A friend of mine has an 05 stock and he said mine would run circles around it. Iʻm never getting rid of it.
I have a 05 Deuce had it for 3 or 4 yrs now.She black with silver pin stripes and only has 10444 miles showing on the odometer.Custom seat foot boards I did lower mine just a bit.Im 6ft2 and it's a comfortable bike to take long trips on.Iv owned a few Harleys. But this one is my favorite.
@@greenidguy9292 The foot boards were just spare parts I had leftover so I was able to bolt them right on the mounting hole that were already on the frame don't know the brand or when I got them.If not mistaken they came off my old 1998 fat boy yrs ago.I do know they do fold up a little when I'm leaning in a turn and as they drag they give just enough not to unload the rear tire as I ride the mountain roads up in NC.But since my first commet. My Deuce has finally hit 11.012 miles.I may have to sell it in the future but I know I would regret doing so.Because you just don't see them. They are in a class all by themselves.Id wish I could start a club just for people that have a Deuce. But I know that's just a dream
I just bought a 2007 deuce never felt a more comfortable bike it’s got a nice seat too , rides like a dream need to put some baffles in shes alittle loud 😂😂😂
What didn't go as planned was missing the differences between Softail Standard and Deuce LoL, okay, he got the tank. Typical sales guy though so no hate. The Deuce is a totally different animal altogether from any other Softails.

So the search began! Another 2007 was found, same color, more add-ons, part-way across the country. Still riding it! Love the Deuce!

Just bought a 2004 deuce with 16000 miles! Bike is mint! Decided to slow down a bit even though I still got the CBR 600. Much more comfortable!
just wondering how much did you pay yours.? im planning to get one myself 06 with 27000 miles
I just bought one with tons of extras and a custom paint job with 4700 original miles for $4k😊

My first bike was an 04 softail standard with a ton of custom work and it was perfect for me to start out riding.

Loud is good
You’ll be heard before your seen
“Doesn’t go as planned” ??? Nothing happened. Damn clickbait. 😡. Gorgeous bike though, Dueces were beauties.
He didn’t like the deuce, spent a week complaining about riding it, then he actually ended up loving it... but we get it... thanks for watching ✌️
Strokers Dallas Ahh, got it. A bit more subtle than I expected I guess
You’re not wrong haha... we have toned the titles down a little more recently! We just posted a new review with Bigun yesterday!

man I just hate the rear fender on these that's the only downside for me beautiful bike otherwise
The frame of the duece is 2 inches longer on the backbone that’s a big difference
So many people repeat that bit. The tank is longer but, the frame is standard softail. There's an adapter that allows the longer tank to be attached.
best beauty ever...
I'll never sell mine. My 1st bike.
I have an 03 so I get it brother.
Nice deuce it
A BMW 310 GS would probably outrun that bike.
