Absolutely brilliant! Despite spending *hours* doing the Ta'loh Naeg shrine in BotW over and over, I was never able to use the techniques I learned there (dodging and flurry rushing) in combat in game. I eventually realized there were two reasons why I couldn't do those combat techniques successfully in the game: The first game I ever played with a combat element was BotW, and I didn't start playing it until January 2021. I'm older, and didn't grow up playing video games. So my brain never created the necessary neural connections that would allow me to quickly and *unconsciously* identify the direction and angle from which an enemy had begun to strike me, and... ...I never developed the fast button-pressing muscle memory that would enable me to respond to the enemy's actions *before* I was hit. You *have* to have both the unconscious analysis AND the quick response to use those skills, especially when fighting Lynels. When I finally understood why I wasn't able to do these things effectively, I knew I had to learn how to "fight smarter, not harder" - so I developed alternative methods to kill all the BotW enemies *except* Lynels - those I simply avoided the entire game. One of the things I worried about with TotK is that it appeared I would have to fight Lynels at some point, so I just accepted I wouldn't be able to finish the game and decided I'd just have fun playing with it until I reached the point at which I'd be forced to stop because of the Lynels. When I received the notification for this video, I allowed myself to feel a bit more hopeful, because in the videos of yours I've watched it seems you're a "fight smarter, not harder" player, too. This video proves it. This is something I can do, too! I should have Autobuild in the next couple of days, and when I have it, THIS will be the very first thing I'll build with it. Then I'm going to use it to kill every Lynel I can find, to make up for all the Lynels in BotW I left alone to continue to terrorize the good people of Hyrule... @@MsTwirlyGirly1 Thanks, and yeah, I should go back to BoTW to see how I was able to actually defeat the Lynels, as in ToTK, I'm not sure if I've lost a step (quick response to use those skills) or that even the easiest (red) Lynels are just tougher to beat!!!🙃 But it sure does pay to fully explore the Depths looking for Treasure Chests/Zonaite, as I saw that building from below and figured it might have something inside worth the attempt of exploring it!!!🙃 So when I saw those odd shaped "Lego" pieces, I started to experiment with them to see what I could build, perhaps a ladder or bridge of some kind, as laid out in a straight line, it did kinda look like the bridges in Venice, but instead of water, maybe an easy way to cross lava!!!🙃 But I knew I hit on something when I started making them into a semi-circle, and it began to take the look/shape of an old Roman Colosseum, so I immediately went back to an older save file and began recording, as I hoped it could be used to take on those Lynels!!!🔥🔥🔥 So my video shows my very first attempt at taking on a Lynel, and it worked far better than I ever imagined it could!!!🔥🔥🔥 But there is another reason why I wanted to defeat a Lynel, more than "make up for all the Lynels in BotW I left alone to continue to terrorize the good people of Hyrule", there is a new Item Duplication glitch that is extremely easy to use (in case you're forced to update the game and 1.1 no longer works), and it requires one of the 3-Shot Lynels Bows to pull off the glitch!!!🔥🔥🔥 I've fully tested the glitch and it does work, and also the steps needed to unlock certain areas can be done fairly early in the game and with limited Battery Cells, you just need 10 Heart Containers, but even that isn't a problem, as my video will show how a person can trade some Stamina Vessels for Hearts if they don't have 10 and don't want to complete more Shrines to get more Hearts!!!🔥🔥🔥 And I've just got a couple more things to do, like upgrade my 3-Shot Lynel Bow into a 5-Shot (makes the glitch works even faster), then edit the footage and upload the video (hopefully sometime on Monday), so hopefully you'll continue to enjoy me being a "fight smarter, not harder" type of player with the new Duplication Glitch video as well!!!"🔥🔥🔥
I finally got Majora's Mask today! I just fired puffshrooms at my feet and kept myself in the cloud. Then I fired gibdo bones at his head. When I'm in the cloud I just aim below the damage marker to hit him in the head. It worked!
@@MicrowavedTurtle there’s definitely one on youtube, i can’t remember who’s video i first saw though, i’m sorry! it’s pretty straightforward though, just fuse two chests together and save it as an autobuild. when you’re approaching a lynel, just autobuild it and place it between you and the lynel. it should get caught in a loop of using its “wind” attack at which point you can destroy it as you see fit
Tbh just get the strong weapon, all you gotta do is kill a molduga, get a royal guards claymore, and do the 3 labyrinths. All you need to do is mount the lynels and it won't even use any durability, kills all lynels except for white maned and up in one mount and anything above you can just take a damage up or upgrade your weapon using octoroks. Ideally you would get the pristine claymore and upgrade it with octoroks but this works just fine for weaker lynels. If you don't want to do the labyrinth the radiant set also gives the bone proficiency, just no stealth.

basically an AI breaker. Mostly-ish works on the game’s final boss as well (he’ll keep doing the spin attack and try to walk around it or gets stuck repeatedly doing the club AOE attack.
I haven't made it to the final boss yet, but does this still work? I've repeatedly tried it on the Lynels both in the open world and in the Depths' colosseum, and it seems that the 1.2.0 update has changed it so when the Lynel begins its roar animation, it destroys part or all of the Autobuild structure and/or the Treasure Chests now...
@@ghb323 Yeah, I kinda figured it would, I'm on 1.2.0 but not going to revert back to 1.0.0, as there's likely other exploits that will be discovered for those that intentionally (like me for testing) or accidentally updated and really need those glitches for the game...
Man I'm seeing a LOT of ways you can make building more simple and precise than what you're doing in this video ESPECIALLY with this trick in particular. You really only need 2 of those sliders to make this work.

In 1.1.2 I found out that if you put 2 chests together(favorite the 2 chests in autobuild), and put the 2 chests in front of the lynel, you can basically stun lynels forever. I found it to work in the lynel colosseum to get majoras mask though I haven't tried it on regular lynels you find across the world
@@ONE-OF-THREE My recommendation to start learning lynels comfortably is atleast level two armor with 10 hearts and a defence boosting food. Otherwise the lynel will one shot you.
The reason why you do not want good offensive gear is to prioritize defense. You need good defensive gear for learning and take a longer time to kill the boss. The longer you survive attacks and not kill the boss, the more you are exposed to its mechanics. The defensive gear gives you time to properly observe mechanics.
"Contra" is considered one of the hardest games to play, so maybe try that, as the Contra Anniversary Collection is available on the Nintendo Switch !!!🔥🔥🔥
That depends, if you have updated Tears of The Kingdom to ver. 1.2.0, then this glitch no longer works as when the Lynel now begins its roar animation, all or part of the Autobuild structure is destroyed/disappears, sorry...
Nope, this locks the Lynel in its "roar" animation so that a person can just continue to hit it till it dies!!!🔥🔥🔥 But you can't update the game to a later version, as Nintendo patched out this and other cheats so that when the Lynel does begin that roar, it automatically destroys the build...:(
What do you mean easiest? It's not the most cost efficient thing to kill a lynel. Just attach 2 treasures together and the lynel will be broken. No need to put a lot of those stupid stuff.

@@Silmerano The only Lynel I tried Puffshrooms on was in the Depths, but it also had some type of stone armour on it that I had to break first, so it wouldn't allow me on its back (I would get thrown off and take damage), so that was why I thought my trap would hold it and other Lynels in place while keeping me safe... But thanks for the tip, it's the same technique for defeating the Lynels back in BoTW, though they seemed a lot easier than here in ToTK!!!🙃
@@ONE-OF-THREE For the armored on just hit him with a couple bomb arrows and that breaks his armor. Or you can flurry rush with a spike ball weapon or a heavy mining weapon. That takes a bit more skill though admittedly.

@@TraceyM825 I believe what Nightgage BP means is that you take two of those blocks in my video, fuse them together, then when you use the Auto Build to place the blocks in front of a Lynel, then also place an apple on top of the blocks to distract the Lynel while you attack it...

With respect, there are so many different ways to play this game and so many different types of people who play it, that it's fine if you want to fight lynels and fine if you farm them other ways. There's no right or better way, just personal preference.

or you can just place two chests stuck together (and save that auto build) to get the same effect but not spend 51 zonaite each time

instead of attaching the sled to the bottom of the wing you can lift it in the air with Ultra Hand and the use Recall to keep it in the air then drive

Plus, I was going to make another video showing that they still worked in the 1.2.0 update, but now, I'm going to have to find out if there is any other glitch or something that can be used to making fighting them easier to do...

Thanks, but unfortunately if you update the game to the 1.2.0 version, this no longer works as the structure is destroyed when the Lynel begins its roar animation...

This has now been patched - the lynels simply destroy it now..
Hopefully it won’t be long before other glitches are discovered that help make battles against the enemies a little easier…

Elaborate, slow, and resource expensive way to kill a Lynel. Just use puffshrooms.
I've tried Puffshrooms, but the Lynel always just walked away or after a few hits, disappears and then respawns nearby...
@@ONE-OF-THREE You use a pufshroom to get on his back. Switch to your highest damage weapon and get free damage that doesn't even degrade your weapon.
@@Silmerano The only Lynel I tried Puffshrooms on was in the Depths, but it also had some type of stone armour on it that I had to break first, so it wouldn't allow me on its back (I would get thrown off and take damage), so that was why I thought my trap would hold it and other Lynels in place while keeping me safe...
But thanks for the tip, it's the same technique for defeating the Lynels back in BoTW, though they seemed a lot easier than here in ToTK!!!🙃
@@ONE-OF-THREE For the armored on just hit him with a couple bomb arrows and that breaks his armor. Or you can flurry rush with a spike ball weapon or a heavy mining weapon. That takes a bit more skill though admittedly.

@@TraceyM825 I believe what Nightgage BP means is that you take two of those blocks in my video, fuse them together, then when you use the Auto Build to place the blocks in front of a Lynel, then also place an apple on top of the blocks to distract the Lynel while you attack it...

With respect, there are so many different ways to play this game and so many different types of people who play it, that it's fine if you want to fight lynels and fine if you farm them other ways. There's no right or better way, just personal preference.
