We have had that song, as a congregational singing at every funeral/memorial in my family. My mother, my father, my brother, my aunts and uncles and grandparents. It’s is one of the most beautiful and meaningful hymnals of all time. Thanks y’all for posting this.

My late aunt had been a missionary in the Amazon jungle most of her adult life; this was her favorite song. As you can imagine, there wasn't any electricity, radio, phonograph, TV, or telephone; so only songs memorized and taught to the natives were heard. Imagine teaching this song to a tribe of people less than 200, and hearing it sung in a language that no longer exists. Thank you.

She was a linguist who spoke English, Spanish, Portuguese and helped decipher the native language of two different Tribes; the Krinkati and Timbiri (not sure on the spelling) My Aunt Mary passed from Pancreatic Cancer in 2001 at age 70.
Thank you for this beautiful song. It came at a much-needed time when I received the news that my sister passed away earlier today. She battled pancreatic cancer for the past year. I truly believe that she is no longer suffering and is in the loving arms of our merciful Father. Until we meet again sis.

Such a special song and version! My family tells the story of my grandmother and her brother at the bedside right before my great grandmother passed. GG looked up at the ceiling, got very excited and said "Oh! Can you hear that? The angels are singing "How Great Thou Art." Then she passed. This song is so special to my family.

This song is very meaningful to me. My father passed away in 1982. It took a long time for my mother to come back to church. The choir started to sing this song. I looked over at my mother. She was crying and trying to stop the tears with a very small handkerchief. Thank you for your beautiful rendition.

When I was a girl, my Mother would listen to Jack Wyrtzen crusades on TV. George Beverly Shea sang on his programs and was reputed to be the singer who brought this beautiful hymn to the forefront in the US. He had an amazing voice and before my Mom passed away she asked that this hymn and In the Garden be played at her funeral. My Niece was able to find Beverly Shea’s version online and we played it as my Mom requested. I’ve complimented you before on your beautiful interpretation s of many songs, but this one is very special to me. Thank you🙂

That was truly beautiful and is one of my favourite ever hymns. Today is my grandson Jude’s eighth birthday and we have travelled with him 😂and his parents to Loch Lomond in the beautiful mountains of Scotland, to celebrate. How fitting that the occasion and your singing should truly feel like a gift from God. Your presentation, the arrangement and chords used in this particular version are lovely. Each of you shine like lights in Heaven when singing alone, but your mastery leaps when singing in harmony. Just amazing how they can move up and down the scale so effortlessly, and then come together on the same note, so that it almost sounds like one voice. They harmonize as only siblings can. At times it's difficult to tell who is sing what part.
