- For a time, the gladiator Valeera Sanguinar served dutifully as one of Varian Wrynn’s personal bodyguards. Now, her shadowy skills find her a natural fit within the secretive rogue order, the Uncrowned, in their fight against the Legion. A master of stealth combat, who is as quick as her daggers are deadly, Valeera is prepared to strike at the Nexus from the shadows as our newest melee assassin.

Buff/debuff (or should I say buff/nerf?) oriented support, ultimate is he channels at range to prevent one enemy hero from doing anything while he explains the direction Blizz is trying to take the game =O
Marcus Ager That makes him sound like he would be a legendary skin for Deckard Cain, replacing Stay a While and Listen with an alternate version themed after Dev Updates.

we got ETC as tank I would like cairne to be a beefy assassin that creates an ancestral spirit and he has like war stomp and shockwave and both him and the spirit cast the abilities at the same time, and if you hit a hero with both shockwaves it would deal massive damage, but cairne has very slow move and attack speed, but deals a lot of attack damage and ability damage

Well there are more assassins than any other class, and now three new releases in a row are assassins. You can understand why some people would complain.

We need Broll bearmantle to be the next multiclass like
Bear form = Tank
Cat form = Melee burst
Moonkin = ranged sustain dps
Perfect for multiclass and it also gives Valeera a friend besides Varian
Bear Tank, Cat Melee, Moonkin Ranged, Night Elf Heal, Stag Form Special Mount (like Diablo or Zagara, not like Rehgar), Crow Form while Hearthing
When they add Broll, he will be Bear From only, because lorewise, all other ancients abandoned him expect bear, so it wouldn't make sense to make him shapeshift to other animals. I often see people that want Broll to be shapeshifter but its just not going to happen.
Broll got his other forms back eventually actually. Heck, you see him as a cheetah in the beginning of this very video.

TotallyNotChris i would say just Bear and cat balancing for 3 is Hard and doesnt even act as logical since feral was Bear and cat and moonkin is a Caster=totally different

There is a Gul'dan skin for Azmodan, yet they released Gul'dan anyways. And as the guy below says, medic Uther is another exception. Broll is definitely a possible pick.
Assassin. Yea, we don't have enough of those.
They actually adressed that complaint on the forums. Heroes take months to desing, so when you set them for a release date, you basically can't move the schedule unless you want to delay release. They wanted to stick to the 1 hero every 3 or 4 weeks but they realized they have 4 assassins back to back too late. They also said they didn't think of them as just "assassins", they each have their own separate role. If you had more roles like bruiser, cc, pusher etc. they would all fit into different categories, and that's how they think of them.
Yeeeeah... but they are still "DDs". Characters focused ONLY about damaging. (except Varian, but he is multiclass).
It is fine TECHNICALLY... but for people (like me) that prefer to play a supportive role is it annoying. I think the rooster needs more fun interesting supports.

Only issue with that is Broll can only invoke the bear form
He van invoke other forms. After he cleansed himself of his self hatred (and the fell energy infecting his bear form) in the comics, Broll regained his ability to shapeshift into the other animals.
The one piece of advice when fighting against Valeera was to knock her out of stealth.... GG.
She's easy to catch out and is a bad frontline fighter since all of her damage is ability damage and cooldown/combo point reliant. Opening in stealth is her bread and butter, that's the best counter against her is vision and keeping her out of Vanish.
Besides, if you are playing against a stealth hero and you get caught out of position and picked off, the failure is on you.
Here's another, get spell block. And another, pick AoE damage tanks.
Only that she's unrevealable = with BOTH of her ults as well as first second from Vanish, no ofense
Well obviously a nerf incomming soon, I'd reduce her HP first and foremost TBH, the damage juuuuust slightly so the squishies she catches on the back don't simply evaporate in 1 sec, like maybe 10% less damage on Garrote and on Eviscerate and remove the talent that makes target blind when Cheap Shot stun expires, but yeah = her HP is OP AF as is lol, she has same HP as Varian/Thrall/Butcher
Let's compare numbers in a vacuum 'cause that's cool, said noone ever.
She has that level of HP, but she has no form of healing, unlike any of those and she won't charge across the map to try and kill you. So that much HP on her won't be as effective as that same amount of HP on any of the heroes you mentioned. So it probably won't be a big deal.
+VArskovski10 ; The best players of this game all agree, she's not very good and is essentially a worse melee Nova. She will be a pubstomper in the lower MMR tiers, but all in all not a optimal choice for any form of ranked play.
Let's not cry nerf because you can kill a stationary target in Try Mode, the simple truth is that those situations do not arise often or at all in real game situations. Opening with a stun or silence from stealth is her main strength, not her damage. Take that from her and she's nothing.

Just started playing this game a few days ago, and she seemed to come out of stealth and attack me. I made sure to catch her hero name. Immediately interested in this hero. Game's a hoot by the way.

I'm still high on Vol'Jin, but knowing there is to be a rouge next makes me ever so happy. I was so tired of Mage glass cannons or slow lumbering tanks. This is perfect and I can't wait for her arrival.
I genuinely feel intimidated and excited to master Valeera's play. Super excited!

Gul'dan was skin for Azmodan too, yet he was added. Skins mean nothing.
What about the Widowmaker skin for Nova?
She definetly could be added, although I don't think she will. But not because she already is a skin. Skin means nothing.

MoonJung82 I disagree, imo mana cost could have gone up one more but still kept the ability to hit heroes. Would have put the cost in line with assassinate and made it much harder to use in a combo without prep or letting your opponent know it was coming.

Yeah, that would work too. The point is that they should have just deleted the card rather than nerf it so hard. I don't get what they were thinking. Either change how it works or increase it's mana cost, not both.

Blizzard, Thank you so much for using my Mathias Shaw idea I posted on the forums long ago for Valeera. I am both honored and humbled that she turned out so well. I know the idea was very simple and yes you could have come to the same conclusion but the button layout and everything was how I preferred it as well. Yes there are some variations to my exact post but it is similar enough for me to be very happy with how close it is.
We got Varian, Valeera, and Rehgar. Just need Broll to round out the team!

Previously they start out with the lore, then page revealing all skills, then show how the skills work, then finally the gameplay.

Shes so coooooool :)))) I've been waiting for Valeera to show herself eventually. I was hoping it would be her to forfill the rogues role in Heroes, and i am very pleased with everything so far, from her apperance, to her move set, shes just Valeera :))

+Arturo Ramírez Dude, nothing can really beat VP's utility, which used to be very groundbreaking before they nerfed it. And Zera has perma stealth and a a very good ranged blink.
Besides.... I feel bad for Nova, more than Zera. She on the other hand becomes even more obsolete than ever before. As if she hasn't had enough competition from Zera, Li Ming, or Samuro(Launch) already...

Disappointment in yet another Warcraft Assassin aside, this was probably the best made Spotlight video yet. I enjoyed the unique intro segment quite a bit! Hope they continue this trend.

Despite all the complaints Valeera is so much different from other assassins and mastering her is going to be so difficult because of the decision making she requires. She's an excellent hero to add to the game and I'm really thankful to blizzard for adding her.
Classic Wow Rouge combined with Slark's ultimate, quite a nice combo actually, seems to mesh nicely.

this is probably your best designed hero yet. really good skillset and i like that it is 1:1 WoW and that it got 6 active skills.
