Adam held his own very well here, between those two i would have caved immediately into laughter and tears and just let them have the show lol, but he did well. Nice.

You can tell this is one of those interviews Conan hates, where the guest seems uncomfortable and doesn't have much to say. At least back then, you could turn to a backup guest on the couch (which I suppose Andy now takes the place of).
I'm sure that Conan thrives for those special moments. Not only it makes the interview much more alive but it feels so much fresh compared to boring 1 on 1 interviews. Thats probably why he loved inviting Norm Macdonald so much.
Man, for the first 4 1/2 minutes, I assumed someone must have cancelled and they saw Adam Brody wandering down the hall, stopped him and asked him to go on air for six minutes. As it happens I did see In The Land of Women a long time ago, pretty good movie I thought even if they did an abysmal job of advertising it here.
I feel like its a more powerful advertising for the movie, he probably already did a bunch of boring interview on the topic, but now this one brings more views

The O.C was amazing. And clever. And extremely funny. It attracted the 90210 crowd AND people who were smart enough to get that it was almost a parody of shows like that. I got a friend of mine to watch one episode and he was instantly hooked. (And trust me, he is NOT a regular teen soap viewer.) Adam Brody played the funniest character on the show, and a lot of what he did was high energy fast talking, so it's really weird seeing him NOT be funny here.

The OC was actually a good show from what I remember. I was only 10 or 11 when it first aired so can't remember much but I did watch it every week.
