@@Gadgetsu Guys, what do you think about s23 50 mpx photos? I was testing it and in my opinion it makes crazy things indoors within a little bit more complicated lighting. Is there any help possible with that? I thought those 50 mpx photos will justify the price of s23, but sadly it didnt :( Like I can just hope they will fix it with an update? But there is no guarantee. And also with gcam it is not possible to use 50 mpx, I have read that Samsung blocks it. If just they could fix those 50 mpx photos, it could be a really great phone. I demand from a phone with this pricetag more than 12 mpx photos.
@@PecikCZ I think S23 50mp photos are very hit or miss! It doesn’t even match up to the detail of the Pixel 7 12mp mode at all! Pixel is definitely the way to go for photography 😅
@@Gadgetsu Thank you for your reply! It is really complicated. There is some potential for nice details, but probably post processing is destroying it and mostly colors. Zenfone 8 with gcam was pretty good, so I thought this will be even better, but there is no possibility to run gcam with 50 mp. Pixel 7 on the other hand is bigger, heavier and also that basic UI is not so nice as Samsung one. Mission impossible then, again... :X

Very good comparison! The Pixel 7 is currently (and routinely) $449-$499, whereas the S23 doesn't appear to sell below its $799 retail price very often. This makes the P7 the much better deal overall IMHO. However, I agree the S23 hardware is better...but you'll pay a lot more for it.

I picked the s23+ for the bigger battery and screen and the faster charging. Got it through Google Fi for $450 off too.
I think for someone like me who is a power user, I prefer Samsung's iteration of Android. Not that Google's is too restrictive, but with Good Lock you get so many more customization features than other Android OEMs. Plus, I prefer the smaller size and better screen refresh rate. Feels like Samsung did everything right by the S23.

I'm addicted already to Pixel phones due to user experience. So, this only goes to personal preference.😊
If you have any issues with your usb port and out of warranty your phone is unrepairable. I have a pixel six and love it. The port is bad and i can only wireless charge. The port is attached to the motherboard and Google won't sell them . I'm semi disabled and have very limited income. I'm basically screwed. The pixel 7 is built the same way. Again love using the phone however it's a very poor design. I understand phone can break, at least make them repairable. A vast amount of other phones have a charging port that is on its own board and therefore repairable. Google won't sell me another motherboard so now I'm doing my best to warn others about this pathetic design.

Just to give everyone a heads up, the pixel is not a phone that is good for gaming. It's processors just aren't programmed that way. And for anyone who's curious, these gig economy, delivery ride share and passenger ride share companies use gaming engines to help autofill lots of the stuff in their apps. The driver apps to make it easier for them to create the driver app in the first place. So when you're using the passenger ride share apps and even most of the delivery rideshare apps, the portion of the phone that is being used processor-wise is the gaming portion since gaming engines are what the redshare companies are using. Your phone thinks you're playing video games, so if it's not a good gaming phone, it would not be a good ride. Share phone either. In fact the worse it is. It gaming the worse it will be if you're a ride-share driver. I know this because I'm a full-time ride share driver and I have a pixel 7 pro and if I could go back and get the Samsung phone I would.

I just want to know what amount of storage is used by 128gb version and 256 gb version.

The 128gb S23 do not have the same memories as the 256gb, be carfull about that
Nice video if Samsung uses their Snapdragon 8gen3 they said it will be 50% powerful than the current Snapdragon which would be powerful than the unreleased iphone 15 so wish Samsung will continue using the Snapdragon

Been using Pixel phones since day one for their camera. A user like me who just want an androit software with great camera and battery that last atleast one day pixels are great pick. I bought the Pixel 7 last year to replace but for it size I still hold on to my 4a. The camera is great but sizes matters to me. So I just bought the S23 but miss the pixels experience so much hope they make smaller ones in the future.
Pixel 8 is 6.1 inches.. almost similar to pixel 4a.. my dad also uses pixel ra till date...

Both are good phones, if we're being honest. If you're deep in the Google ecosystem I think the Pixel is a no brainer. I have a Pixel 7, but when the S24 comes out again I think I'll switch back to Samsung, because I've always liked Samsung products. I've never really had any issues with them. My Pixel can be quite buggy (at times), but not enough to ruin the experience overall.

I've seen so many reviews comparing video between these two and it's honestly a 50/50. Some reviews the Samsung looks better and some other reviews the pixel looks better. I think it's unfair to say the Samsung is the definitive winner.
In my opinion u can't go wrong with a pixel I used to love Samsung but since I got the 6a I will not be going bk anytime soon and that is just the 6a so can't wait for the pixel 8 that is my next phone 📱, can't go wrong with the price for what u get.

Also, big foul on using S22/P6 photos in the camera section. The S23 might have the same sensors, but processing has changed. You shouldn't have skipped corners.

Hello. First of all, I want to thank you for the review. Please help. At the moment I have 1+3t and I want to change to a new one. My brother has an iPhone 13 and is going to sell it. With my budget, I'm hesitating between the Samsung S23, the iPhone 13 or the Pixel 7 Pro (or wait for the 8). As a person who has used these smartphones, which one would you recommend? And yes, I live in Ukraine
I have a love hate relationship with pixel phones. I love that I can bring it along to meetings and training sessions and know that I will have a searchable set of notes at the end. It's the killer feature that I use pretty much all the time. That said I hate that it heats up, that when I have phone calls if I hover my finger over the camera the screen goes black, that it gets hot and that the battery life does not last all day for me although maybe I'm a heavy user

I wanted the S23, but it is just far too expensive especially here in the UK, so I went with Pixel 7.

I tried both phones in a Best Buy. The pixel 7 felt a lot more clunky, heavy, and ugly compared to the s23.

For me personally, i can't stand the notifications on Samsung on the lock screen as well as the duplicate apps and the poor RAM management. Plus i much prefer stock android and find the Pixel features more useful. Then the s23 series is too overpriced imo. With the Pixel 7 being either $449 or $499 it's $300 to $350 cheaper. Making it the better deal. Although Samsung has the best displays and better battery life.
Unfortunately, the S23 costs twice as much as the Pixel 7 here in my country. So Pixel 7 still wins for me.

It's crazy how good my pixel 7 is at catching movie targets. Don't get me wrong the S23 is a great phone. But the Pixel 7 camera is just too damn good.

The pixel 7's fingerprint sensor is really slow. Slower than the oneplus nord 2 which is a much cheaper phone.
The 2 things that I hate in the pixel 7 is the battery and fingerprint sensor. Everything else is sweet.

@@tersem5151 It really depends on the users choice and likings. The selfie cam on the P7 could have been a little better. Both the cameras produce flagship level images for Sure. So far I liked the p7 camera.The main cons of the p7 camera are : The night videography is the worst in the ultra wide sensor. The main 48mp camera performs excellent in the outdoors in good lighting conditions and good in the night. But the ultra wide camera is good only in good lighting conditions,it is the worst in the night and produces a lot of grains in the video. We can visibly see the quality difference while shooting a vid and switch the zoom to ultra wide. It's crap in the night.(ultra wide video and img). The switch may not be visible in the Morning and in good lighting conditions.
