- These are Things from Paper Mario: Color Splash for Wii U. Including the Fire Extinguisher, Fan, Plunger, Lemon, Cat-o-Luck, Piggy Bank, Bone, Bottle Opener, Ice Pick, Balloons, Teapot, Turnip, Instant Camera, Basin, Battery, Compass, Cork, Washing Machine, Lightbulb, Salt and Pepper, Charcoal Grill, Megaphone, Hair Dryer, Magnifying Glass, Claw Hammer, Recorder, Disco Ball and the Black Bowser's Castle.
In Paper Mario: Color Splash Paper Mario travels to Prism Island after receiving a colorless Toad via mail. After arriving Paper Mario finds out that Bowser has been draining all the colors from Prism Island. Now Paper Mario together with Huey, the flying paint can, will try to restore the color of Prism Island.

Fun facts for those who don't read the instruction manual:
1) The battery song is in German and translates to 'Listen you fools, listen to the battery!'
2)If you scream into the microphone when using the megaphone Thing, you will do some mega damage and have your voice come through the megaphone as well.

The pig is my favorite I love the breakdancing. Fun fact: when you use the battery card the guy in the background singing in German and it translates to "Listen up, you fools! Listen to the Battery!"
Basically, use thing cards for perfect bonuses (not all work though and only a few works on certain enemies only)
Plus, the basin works for huge damage, the teapot for stacked enemies, the disco ball as a distraction, the piggy bank for extra coins, and the lightbulb, lemon and salt and pepper for blinding.
Oh, and the camera for a super-temporary shield
And the compass for escaping a battle more easily

You get a copy of the card every time you beat the final boss.
Before watching this video I screwed myself out of beating Bowser. I only had a small bit of paint to get off him, and I reckoned I could just use a Thing card to get it done quickly. Being the div I am, I chose the compass for some reason, not knowing what it did. I kicked myself after watching this video
Nobody expects to run away after using the compass for the first time. It probably didn't do anything against Bowser.

By the way, if you use it on Bowser's 2nd phase, you knock out about a 3rd of the black paint
