a week in seattle 🏔️☕️ | pike market, first starbucks, mt rainier, bellevue & more!

we back in the west coast again boisss (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡
reviews:
day 2: 9/10
- first starbucks is def overrated haha, it was just a regular starbucks with a condensed menu + a super long line
- piroshky piroshky was super delicious esp for someone who absolutely LOVES pastries and desserts
- the pike market was such a gorgeous market--the flowers here are INSANE but the fish part of the market is def a little stinky haha
- starbucks roastery was SO EXCITING and the whiskey barrel aged cold brew was surprisingly good :)) it had a super strong whiskey scent, which I was worried about, but it was a really nice strong roast
- crab pot was fun to eat but the mussels were not the most fresh :(
day 3: 8.5/10
- UW IS SOOO BEAUTIFUL????? i wish i got to experience the quad during cherry blossom season, but it was still incredible without (someone explain to me why they gave the cs + eng kids such a beautiful building :O)
- gas works park was kinda rustic, which i enjoyed and the view was so beautiful
- kerry park gives an amazing overlook of the seattle skyline; if you're lucky you'll get to see mt. rainier in the back but the day we went was not clear enough :( (tbh i liked kerry park more than gas works hehe)
day 4: 8.5/10
- bellevue botanical garden was really pretty and fun to walk around; it was a nice break from the city vibe
- microsoft visitor center was SO COOL :)) it made me 348923894238x more excited to start my internship hehe :P
day 5: 9/10
- chihuly museum was really pretty and i really liked the exhibit but it was really short :( kinda wish it was longer but luckily we bought the package with the space needle so it was worth the $$$
- space needle was SICK :) the panoramic views were so pretty and you could really see the city being enveloped by mountains everywhere
- too bad we couldn't see rainier again LOL
day 6: 7/10
- amazon go was super cool and i really like the concept of a cashierless store
- dindin was at tilikum cafe and we got oysters, roasted chicken, and pork schnitzel :) food was very yummy but i heard the brunch here is EVEN BETTER
day 7: 12/10
- mt. rainier is the most elite. that's all i have to say. truly breathtaking.
tbh overall (once again): west coast = best coast
i'm so excited to be spending the next 12 weeks here !!!
