3:39 - 4:07 Simon Pegg doesn't give enough credit as Benji. You can feel how really cares about Ethan, not just as an agent, but as a friend. I was so glad they kept him since M:I3. Ethan know he's the best partner and agent that he needs to go on his missions.
I really believe that Rogue Nation is the best Mission Impossible movie since the original. Ilsa Faust and Solomon Lane were perfect additions to this franchise
@@mikejulz87 It definitely has its moments. But Ghost Protocol has its moments of inappropriate silliness as well. I mean, why does Ethan need to have so many things go wrong?? @@stevenharsono9911 I think Ethan is more worrying. He looks like he gets taken out on the train while trying to get back up fighting Esai. Ilsa, I know about the key, but the Venice Bridge, a sword fight with Esai (or Kittridge) could go wrong.
@@bien.mp4 exactly i dont get people who praise Balfe. Not saying he's bad, but he is just too pompous and music feels disconnected from scenes at some points. Both Kraemer and Gioacchino did a far better job to me.
Solomon Lane is basically the Mission Impossible version of the Austrian terrorist/criminal mastermind Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the supreme leader of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and the archenemy of 007 James Bond.
He's waaaaaaaaay better man, at least if we are talking about the movie version, he's more like Ledger's joker (the red box is often referred as a "ledger", not a coincidence): he's not the protagonist jealous brother but his actual doppelganger (just like Batman and Joker), he aims for chaos and revolution not control and stability (like the joker again), doesnt lead a senseless organization that seems to rule the world and isnt able to fight a single man, but a little organization looking for "aggressive expansion" (remember anyone?), he is a destroyed man but not crazy with no purpose left except destruction of the established order, he has a big faith in humans having the potential to turn bad, while good is only an accident ("They are only as good as the world allows them to be...i'm not a monster, just ahead of the curve"; "I believe in your potential...why you continue to resist": Ilsa is to Lane what Dent is to Joker).
The Syndicate actually harkens back to the latter years of the original Mission Impossible tv series. When the focus went away from doing missions in fictional foreign lands, they turned their focus to organized crime. Hence, The Syndicate was born. Cruise and his production team just reappropriated it into an independent black ops outfit that’s counter to the IMF for the movies.

*doesn't get
This is literally the best mission impossible movie. Its been 6 years and I keep coming back to watch these clips
This, right here, was the moment when Benji won my heart.
first time he stood up to the toughest guy in the room, eh? ;-)
His words are great and cool
He already won mine at Ghost Protocol. Lmao
@@luvcirii Well, I hadn't watched that one yet.

It's alright. XD
I admire Benji's firmness knowing all the risks and danger he was facing.
He’s a real one. He would never leave a friend in need.
Agreed

"Tonight I made it official."
Such a badass line 😎
YEAH!! 😎👍

They were fighting their evil Twin
Totaly . Especialy the fights and Back ground scores

3 was the best, that cold open was spectacular
That was so cute. He was his friend. And I love his surprise at his assertiveness and accepted him on the mission.
His role in this made Shawn of the dead look boring!
This film has Simon Pegg’s best performance, he’s really good at dramatic acting
“An anti-IMF.” Line gives me chills every time.
Everyone should get a friend like Benji👌
Everyone should *be* a friend like Benji
Everyone should be like Ethan Hunt to have a friend like benji

No matter what kind of Villains they will bring us in the upcoming Mission Impossible-7 and 8 , I just hope Ilsa Faust didn't die
Or Ethan, or Benji, or Luther.

at times Balfe's music is way too loud. Also it's obvious that he's not classically trained.
One of the stuntmen who portrayed Kagan is Wolfgang Stegemann.
This movie pulls out all the stops by bring in the syndicate from the 1960s and the 1980s TV series
In a series full of people hanging off planes & jumping off buildings, Benji standing up to Ethan stands apart as an especially badass moment.
Mi should have origin stories for villains. .
A movie like
Lane :MI origins , would be great
