I love watching Pauly. His wisdom, sense of humor, and his common sense compassion. Nothing stops him from getting the job done.
I am soo sorry you had to send that mare to her final home. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am so happy for little Eli!!! ❤
RIP Mondo and Betty, thanks for all you guys do
Pony Tales staff, vets, Pauly and volunteers, the compassion, love and care you offer the rescues does not go unnoticed. Thank you for the strength it takes to do the hardest things. RIP Mondo and Betty. You were in the best of care.
Thank you for giving Mondo & Betty a chance and working so hard with all the horses. God bless you all the trauma from the loses is real…
Thank you Pauly!
It will never get easier when it's time to let them go. Very difficult for many reasons, but in the end dignified.
I am so very sorry for the loss of Mondo and Betty. RIP❤❤
Run free Mondo and Betty.
I love how Nadia is a big firery dragon at everything shes not sure about😂😂 they always crack me up with the snorting.
I love how the whole family comes together to help with chores ❤ that was quite the cold snap we had wasn't it. We got down to -12 with -30 windchills here in northern Indiana thanks to the big old lake Michigan. Here's to warmer days for all.
Rest in peace Mondo and Betty😢❤
I love how Nadia is like "I'M A DWAGON NOW!" as soon as she stepped outside. Thanks for doing such amazing work and especially for giving each horse the chance that they deserve! :)
Rest easy Mondo and Betty. Im gonna miss his sassiness.
I like want you are doing want for the horse you are doing a great job Nanette
RIP Betty and Mondo. You always do the right thing for your horses. Like the new Intro, but I loved to hear Nate take on the old intro. Dont freeze to death over there. Take care.
Paulie needs a big magnet tied to a string lol, ( my farrier used to do that to pick up nails, and etc.lol he just put it on the top of his tool box .
I sincerely hope that milder temperatures return quickly.
Yay! I just recently starting watching your channel and have been bingeing all the episodes from the beginning and now I've finally caught up.
Great new intro. Sorry for your loss
Lots of layers wear hats keep warm and keep doing the wonderful work you do ❤️🌞
RIP Mondo & Betty. You did everything you could for them. Nice 6 month bday celebration for Bobby. He liked the cake in the end. Nice to see a few adoptions. I know what you mean about crunchy snow as I live in a very snowy & cold part of Canada.
Praying and Hugs ❤❤
Betty❤❤❤❤❤ happy trails mamma. You were a good mare. Thanks Pony Tales, for doing your best for her.😢
Bless y’all for the sacrifices you make for these horses. And for the super hard work to continue looking after them in that cold weather. Thank you so very much. I am sorry for the two you said good bye to. You have given them the best care during their time with you.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind words. 🙏
Well done as usual in freezing conditions ❤
Thank you for surrendering your horse ponytails will find it the right fit.
I have to tell you guys, QUICK CONNECTS for your water hoses! Just put a little Vaseline on them, and they snap and unsnap so easy! Stay warm!
Great tip!
I always hate seeing horses being put down! I know it is the right thing to do, and I experienced it when I had to put my gelding down in 2009!
Hello from Australia. 42°C yesterday (107 in freedom units). Pleasant today, about 25°C.
Bobby is getting big! Butters has the life at Pony Tales!
Rest in peace babies 😢
Love the new intro❤
You tried so hard but sometimes things just aren't meant to be. Thank you for caring and trying.
RIP Mundo and Betty❤
So sad about Mondo, but he can rest easy now. Bonnie gets to skip this cold weather, and be a young strong horse once more.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Have you considered PSSM/MIM in Mama Moonshine? My gelding was just the same with this condition. Keeping the back warm and light movement (20 min. a day of work in hand at a walk and/or physio/massage) helped him a lot.
I'm sorry about Betty and Mundo. Even though we know the risks and the odds, it still hurts. I hate winter and especially dragging hoses around and then trying to roll them back up before they completely freeze. I'm still refusing to pull out my coveralls. That -19 the other morning almost got me to pull out my winter chore coat though. I no longer have a herd of horses to chore, so I can do a little at a time and warm up in between. With my disability, just putting all the heavy winterwear on wears me out and makes it even harder to get around to actually get everyone chored and then you have to fight your way out of it all LOL. I get why all the old people go to Florida for the winter now!
I love what you all do. ❤
Thank you so much, I'm very sorry for your lost! Sending you my best wishes (Pauly and Dr. Dave too)🙋♀️❤️🌞
Great work with so much love 🏆🐴🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Reflectix bubble wrap might be useful to layer under the overalls. You can find it at many home improvement stores.
You might wrap it around the water buckets, plus fill them with slightly warmer water so they don't freeze as fast.
Thank you for your hard work in this crazy frozen weather.
❤ the new intro
Living in Manitoba Canada ….walking on crunchy snow is normal 😂 so are snow pants and dressing up to the nine 🤭
Sorry for your loss, Prayers ❣️🙏❤️
Goodbey Mondo and Betty.... You tried so much.
When I saw you all gearing up for the cold I felt for you... This morning in Quebec City (Canada) we have a very crispy -47 celcius degrees (-53 celcius degree with the wind) and I felt so happy not having to ride in the cold. Days like this, Here in french we say " Il fait moins tabarnak" hahaha
Hello, love your channel and the way you’re handling these horses! I was a teenager when I was hired to take care of show horses and show dogs! The lady I worked for taught me a lot. She had a black stallion named pops and I was told I could ride him if you aren’t afraid of him. Well we got along immediately and I rode him from out of his paddock right into her backyard and shocked her! He was a lot of talk but a total gentleman. I was the only person to ride him. Brought her to tears. So she said Dave can you help me with my show dogs?! Yup what do you need. This was the 70’s and she was getting $5000 per puppy. Which to me was nuts, but it was true. I rescue dogs and cats. I have a female purebred American pit bull. A rescue and such a sweet girl. My grandkids boss her around. They think they are but she’s just making them laugh!
Sending warm wishes and ❤️ love your channel
My heart goes out to you all over the loss of Mondo and Betty, I was ok until I heard Cindy's voice break telling Dave to let Betty go too. I bawled like a baby. I do love the new intro though.
I had a German Shepherd with osteosarcoma and the bone looked a bit like that except to a larger degree.
Photonic health light !!!!!!!!
Nadia acts like she is afraid of just a out everything.😊
Some times! Lol
Hey, Elias the little pony got adopted. They will grow into a good team.
I love the crunch, but I take my hat ff to you guys, a lot of work..
The crunchy ice sounds like my knees and hips ....I'm an oldie 😊 Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧
I grew up in Northeast Ohio I know about taking are of livestock in winter. Horses, cows and many other species. We had to carry water from the house in winter. Summer we had a pond for water and a cistern in the barn area. I know how hard it is at least on a smaller scale. Dad grew most of the feed that was needed. It was hard for us can’t imagine what how hard for you guys. I also remember losing animals too . I just want to tell you all I would trade places with you but I am to old now. Keep up the good work and keep warm.
❤❤❤
Mabe the question is , he could be " proud cut" when they gelded him? Rip the lovies that are now at rest, chiropractor I hope she gets better soon, everyone else, stay warm and safe, thank you for loving and helping these beautiful souls. Yes, you loose some, but, aren't they a learning chance? That mabe, another one will be able to be saved, because you had treat another and learned something new..? Like what treatments work better than others?
Aww so sad RIP babies ❤….love Paulie such a character. Might be time to upgrade and insulate those barn stable walls
Thank you for giving Mondo and Betty a better life than what they had Pony Tales.
Hey Paulie, said with Long Island NY accent, you are freakin awesome!
Bobby’s cake looked really go
Great introduction. Love it!
It would help with the rust if you washed/rinsed off the salt from the roads.
You ALL are GOOD with the horse
Mabe this might work for you, the way I filled hay bags, is I had a 5 gallon bucket I had cut the bottom out of I put it in the bag so I could stick the hay in the bucket then pull it out, it worked well, I hated having to fill hay bags..so, I figured out how to make it quicker and easier lol
Awwww Rip 😢
Do not envy you guys. No snow where I live. Queensland the sunshine state🇦🇺😎
its been cold here but not frozen hay nets cold XD
I do like the new intro a lot.
Ive been layered so thick i walked like an ewok up at my uncles ranch in new york!!! Yea its cold when its hard to move do to layers
That want my horse was on and she passed away from the cancer Nanette
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😇🪽🪽💕
That cold! I remember it well.
There are rubber mats that heat up those might work to stand the buckets on to defrost…
we had snow last week. then the snow started to melt. there was thin ice. i mean thin ice on my landlord porch, and I didn't see it... I went flyning up in the air. torn my meniscus in my left knee.. badly badly, bruse my right, elbow, my leg. brused my right shoulder. Im 53 yrs old. Yes, I have bad bad back problems, and im on blood thinners. I am a mess.. on the good note, nothing broken.. please say a prayer that 🙏 I don't go for surg... please, please be careful...
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 🎂... omg the smile bobby gave melt my heart. i cried 😢❤❤❤❤ prayers for many many more for all the beautiful horses. ❤
Intro looks really good.
I love Envy …
Love the intro
I know they sell buckets with built in heaters but apparently they are hard on the electricity bill i dont know how viable solar is there. Hopefully it doesn't get so cold in the stalls too often
I have them and they were a life saver for me. I have one where you can run it also from a batterie. I have electricity at my stables but no running water. I drive the water there in canisters and I have a timer set so the heater doesn't run 24 hours. The water actually can get too warm (not hot) 😂
Electricity combined with water (water buckets) in a structure especially like a barn, terrifies me. Then add horses to the equation who like to mess with everything. Lol
@@PonyTalesRefuge I have two 29 year old Irish Cobs, they've never messed with anything and actually they couldn't reach the cable even if they tried. I sometimes forget how some horses are 😨
Oh my gosh...you should do a facebook and yt reel off singing and his teeth 😂
🇦🇺🙋🏻♀️💙
To be humane….❤😢
I think you need to put bollards around that hydrant. It’s constantly in danger.
the new is good good but feel the original is better, stronger in content.
Bobster is just a little too young to understand what treats are, Envy enjoyed the cake though 😂💜
Right?!
How cold is it C°??
-21F would be -29C. According to Google anyway. Lol
@PonyTalesRefuge thanks 👍
Nadia looks as though she's never seen snow before and can't wrap her mind around what's happened to the ground!
Bobby's getting so big. Do you guys have any guesses as to what his breeding might be? I believe his mom was a Belgian, but Bobby looks nothing like her.
We don't know what dad was!
Anything to do with horses is very expensive...😢
Have ever tried DMSO for swelling and soreness?
The vet is right here...he diagnoses and gives what they need
We have, yes.
Nadia part dragon..
Wow that's miserable iced up buckets. You people work so hard in such cold weather. Does it stay that cold for long periods of time?
Not generally THAT cold for extended periods of time. We do get cold snaps like that and generally just a day or two. This one went on for about a week though. SO glad it's over! Lol
You guys look like your going on a sleigh ride!! Lol you wish!
If she has a micro chip already, not all OTTB's have tattoos. Mines doesnt.
She predates the microchips which began in 2019 I believe and we scan them for chips as well. No chip and no tattoo.
@PonyTalesRefuge ah ok. I figured you were aware. Thanks for your reply. I do love the video!
If you video the horses when you think there lame so that when the vet comes he can see what you've seen.sods law you see them lame then you call vet out and they look fine🙄 lol
Love Nate’s Make America Great Again. I’m surprised it was included in the video though. So many people get offended now days.
It wasn't being sought out during editing and we did lose a couple followers due to it but so be it! It doesn't change our mission and love for the animals :)
Have you thought about putting a thermal cover over your hoses to stop them freezing?
Not during exams...and the horses Aren't 'freezing'
@@LouiseStastny the OP was talking about covering the HOSE so they could get water out of them, and for them not to freeze up…she said nothing about the HORSES freezing!!
Good idea, hoses freeze so easily!
We have thought about it, but the expense given the length of our hoses just isn't very practical. At least not considering how brief extreme cold snaps are like this. Generally, if the temp is above 5 degrees, it's not a problem and one person can do it. When it's colder than that though, two people working together to get it out and running works great. :-)
TENS Machines for Horses might be good , atheletes use them ,
Don't do puvcouk is not good for horse that is want happen to my that is why she passed away Nanette
I have been a happy subscriber and supporter of your channel. I must now leave after seeing Nate wearing a maga cap. Enough said.
Understood. It is sad though when people change how they feel about a person or group based on such things.
@@PonyTalesRefuge… don’t include political content if you do not want people to have a reaction to it.
Has no bearing whatsoever that this group does great work with these rescues should be what matters.
@@kathleengowarty2742 actually for some people it makes them questioning everything so in that sense it is relevant.
It was not intended to be "political content". It was simply a hat someone was wearing. If that changes how you feel, then so be it. Does Brook's Volvo hat bother people who hate volvo's?
Love the new intro❤
