    Why can’t you just stick an open end wrench up under the fuel tank? Thanks

    Hi, what is the cable running underneath the throttle attached to that trigger looking thing. New to biking just bought a cb500x 2022. Cheers.

      It is the power cable to the Oxford heated grips I installed

    --- I just tightened the major clutch adjustment nut ( on right side of engine as you show around 6:17 to 6:20 ish and tighened the clutch adjustment part at the clutch handle as well ...It's tighter.but it still requires pulling in the clutch lever the same distance to put the rpm's from actually making the rear wheel turn..to it not turning.
    I want to make it to where I have less distance to pull before the clutch is engaged ( meaning it cuts all power to the rear wheel)
    There is a good quarter of an inch distance from the locking nut ( clutch handle bar) to the turning/adjustment nut on that. Am I misunderstanding something?
    9k miles on my cb500x 2019

      So adjusting the clutch free play just takes the stretch out of the cable allowing for proper engagement of the clutch. To change the distance traveled for the lever itself you would have to replace the clutch with a short engagement clutch or you could try replacing your lever with a adjustable or different type of lever which could change the distance of the clutch lever travel.

    Please tell me what brand and possibly part numbers of your brake and clutch levers :D.
    I"ve been searching high and low for direct OEM "plug n play" fitting one's all over the net and can't find those as I want some that bend up upon the bike hitting the ground. I"m so tired of replacing the shitty stock levers xD
    Yes..I know...Barkbusters is my friend. I just ordered the correct set for my bike and eta is tomorrow arriving but still I want to know I never have to replace the dadgum clutch or brake levers ever again.

    Hey just wanna ask, sometimes it happens on my cb500x when I shift on the second gear from the first gear, sometimes it shifts back on the Neutral, what do you think will be the problem?

    • @azrider6608
      @azrider6608  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      that could be a normal condition from not applying enough pressure to the shift lever when shifting gears I have also gotten the false neutral between 3rd and 4th when only lightly tapping the shift lever.

    Isn't it a little tricky?? Can it mess up the adjustments for carburetors of different cylinders?

    Hi, could you please tell me what brand your panniers and pannier carriers are? They look like Shad SH23 and 3P rack system but on thier web site it seems they're not compatible with this model. Looking to fit something similar on my bike, any help would be appreciated.

      I've since looked on the Shad website and it says the p3 mounting system for the CB500X isn't compatible with SH23 panniers, which it clearly must be after looking at your bike. I don't suppose you know the exact part number for the frame you have fitted to your bike?

      @@clivepumfrey3781 not sure why it say it is not compatible they even have instructions on how to install the on their website. but this is the p3 system number hocx59if

    The lock nut on the throttle should be up against the housing, not the adjuster barrel. Same as you did on the clutch.
