All sneakers can go in the washing machine guys. Cold water no drier not to frequently. unfoŕtunatly if they smell really bad the stink comes back quickly. 😊
it is not about being Hygienic. When you buy shoes or boots that have no ventilation after 3 days of using it, they will stink. I bought my boots a week ago and they started to smell bad. I went online to find out that The real reason behind the smelly boots is that it makes our feet perspire because of the lack of air circulation in and out of the boots. The perspiration is happening through the feet sweat glands, which maintain the temperature of our body. I recommend military boots. No matter what you do with it, it will never smell bad. the technology is awesome, but it is expensive. Just make sure you buy the real deal and not a cheap imitation.
Or just wash your feet with a dove or Irish spring soap bar then right after you get out the shower put deodorant on your feet as for the shoes just put baking soda and powder carpet freshener and let it sit for 10 hours and then wash it then it should remove the funk
Washing machine, then air dry in front of a fan, dehumidifier, or outside. Washing your shoes is the only way to really get rid of the odor. You have to remove the underlying causes. Oils, sweat, bacteria, dead skin, and the most important, fungus. Also, remove and wash your insoles. Next best option is Windex. Spray until wet and let dry.
I tested a bunch of things. The odor is gasses from bacteria. You want something that actually removes the bacteria and doesn't just mask the odor with perfume. I tried dumping hand soap all up in the shoes. Like 10 times as much as you'd use to wash your hands, then let them soak for an hour, then hosed them down good to get it all out. Then left them on the radiator for 24 hours. The result was my shoes now smell of soap, but with undertones of smelly feet so it didn't do shit to kill off the bacteria its just hiding it with perfume. Baking soda reduced the odor slightly after 24 hours, but not enough. I've tried leaving it in there several weeks, and it was the same. The freezer method only works temporarily as the bacteria becomes inactive and dormant while frozen down. Yeah, your shoes will have no smell at all right when you pull them out of the freezer but the smell will be back once the shoe is room temperature again.
You pt baking soda in a sock, not pur it in just like that in the shoe. It dissapointed me but it DID worked, it got rid of a terrible smell, just not of all smells in generall.
Take some of baking soda, solve it in some water, add clotrimazole solution( a fungicide found in pharmacies) to that water, shake well, pour some of that mixture all over the inside of your shoes until they become wet...leave them to dry...and voila, the smell is gone. Make sure to wash your feet and socks with that mixture to get quite a satisfying result. Please, don't forget to wash your feet with plain water after taking off your shoes. What do you think doctors?
Stuck a nylon socket with white rice after use, and spry lysol inside before each wear, get a couple of pairs of shoes to cicle the use so you never use them moisted (depending on how much you sweat it can take up to 5 days for a shoe to fully dry ) if posible dry them i a sunny well ventilated area, and use fungicide cream for prevention every time you shower outside your home. Thats the advice of someone who has always ben higenic but suffers from hyperhidriosis (profound perspiration) last time i had bad smell problems was about 10 years ago and it doesnt take any extra time on your day

Apparently it's fine to do with Vans.

The problem with the freezer when I put my Sperry Deck shoes in the freezer within a day or so the the soles come unglued and come off.
it is not about being Hygienic.

To Laraciedark 1440: What brand do you suggest? What are the best?
Can you die from an odor? I mean, like if you were locked in a vomitorium for two weeks, could you actually die from the odor?
You would get sensitized to it just like farmers and cow shit.
It depends what is creating the odour.

Or just wash your feet with a dove or Irish spring soap bar then right after you get out the shower put deodorant on your feet as for the shoes just put baking soda and powder carpet freshener and let it sit for 10 hours and then wash it then it should remove the funk

You can try many tips, but what actually easy works shall be SUNFOOT shoe dryer and sterilizer!
Prove it!!

What's the solution?
Can't stand fake people that fake laugh and act like they're all happy just to make people satisfied.

Baking Soda! **crowd claps**

You pt baking soda in a sock, not pur it in just like that in the shoe. It dissapointed me but it DID worked, it got rid of a terrible smell, just not of all smells in generall.

Listerine in spray bottle and spray away. Spray some on your feet too for good measure. Shoes and feet will smell like mouthwash.
Borax powder is better. It’s a natural anti fungal that the fungus can’t develop a resistance to unlike clotrimazole

How are you doctors freezing your shoes will actually preserve bacteria freezing is bacteriostatic they teach you that in high school biology

Odor causing bacteria do not thrive in cold temperatures

You could always just make holes near the toes so your feet can breathe better. Lol

I think it’s important to kill the bacteria so out of these maybe the last one was best - you can also use an ozone generator if you have connections to use one for free or if you ever need one for a flooded room or a car, etc you can throw the shoes in with it.
That’s damn near a unicorn not many people even know what that is
I think scrubbing it like a dish pan with detergent soap and tea tree shampoo also letting a incense blow into it after u scrap away all the gunk
