    1) I filled it with sand
    2) I tea bagged my shoe and my ballack started to hurt
    3) I used my jizz sock by accident
    4) I poured flour into my shoe, then my shoes froze with mucky flour in them
    5) I threw the peel out and used the inside of the orange
    6) I poured vinegar, shoes smell like an old salad the next day
    7) Dryer deformed my shoe
    8) I left my shoes in acidic acid
    9) Now I don't have shoes and dropped the soap in the shower
    10) I bought uggs.

For low to Medium stink, I've found that a layer of baking soda UNDER the insole can help. Also the rubbing alcohol trick but on a rag that you can stuff the shoe full of.
For bio-warfare level stink, soak the shoes in 91% rubbing alcohol for 5 minutes and then let them air dry. Be careful though as some inexpensive shoes might fall apart because the alcohol dissolves some adhesives.
When you wash your shoes in the washing machine (Which you should do anyway, just to get all the gunk off and the stale sweat and dead skin cells out of them) use a mesh bag instead of a pillow case - it'll let more water flow through. And add a cup or two of Oxy Clean to the water - that'll not only remove most of the stains, it decomposes into hydrogen peroxide in the water, which is a highly effective antimicrobial agent.

OK, I just want to offer another remedy that works well for very stinky feet. Put a generous ammount of baking soda inside the shoes and shake it around till it coats well the inside of the shoe. Many times the odors are caused by acidy secretions and sweaty feet. The sodium bicarbonate is good for the skin also. I have used it as deodorant.

It's completely gets ride of odor in about and hour and leaves your kicks in fresh smelling condition without the hassle of getting them wet, soapy, or full or baby powder. It's clean, quick, efficient and works amazingly!

Insoles with activated carbon works too. Baking soda can also be used to remove odour.

Just wash the shoes (and removable insoles, if any), let them air dry, then saturate with ordinary white vinegar and let them dry again. The process takes about two days, but the shoes will be odor-proofed for many months, perhaps up to a year. If they should get smelly again, repeat the procedure. (You're welcome.) Treat insoles and the insides of new shoes with white vinegar before wearing them to prevent odor in the first place.

Spray did nothing. The orange peelings kinda worked, but it might of been because I didn't use enough. However I just washed them as he stated also...

Too much work, just try an antimicrobial shoe insole like PodoPhylus. It slowly releases iodine inside the bag they provide and the next day, Done! My sister used it

    Febreeze.
    Perfume/cologne
    Scented insoles.

I remember this one case when I had a pair of shoes I used every week in the gym and my feet were always very sweaty. I used them for a whole year and even after that, they smelled just like new! I don't know how the hell it happened, but they were so fresh you could smell them and be like "I know this smell, it's the smell of new shoes!". And it wasn't just me, even my friends thought they were fresh as new.

You can just keep 2 packets of silica sugar (chemical) in both of your shoes and and keep the shoes air tight in a cover. The silica will absorb odour
