I like how Drew lifted Heigl up in this interview. We, as viewers, could tell Kathrine was in a vulnerable state in the interview. Unsure what her day was like, but Drew fed goodness her way. Hopefully when the interview was over, Drew changed Kathrine’s day and weekend. Drew seemed like a friend to Heigl-not just a talk show host..and that was heartwarming to see
Drew is truly a ray of sunshine and even as a child.. she always made my day better:) I think poor heigl has a bad wrap for being honest and true to herself. if the drama happened now, we would have ALL embraced her.

She stated she "did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant [a nomination]." True or not, she could've handled that with more grace and tact. Bottom line: Heigl thought she could parlay her fame from Grey's into becoming a big movie star. Well, that didn't pan out like she thought. Hopefully, in the years since, she's learned to be more appreciative and treat people with more kindness. We'll see.

Could she had handled the thing with Shonda better? Of course but Shonda could have handled herself better as well. In Canada, our Thanksgiving lands on our son's birthday from time to time, he asked me to make him a turkey cake for him on his 8th birthday with chocolate cake for the dark meat and vanilla for the white meat. It has become our tradition only for those extra special Birthday/Thanksgiving dinners. It is good to see and hear from Katherine again. She seems happy 😊.
She does look a bit different than her usual self, tho she hides it well. I may be off the mark here but there’s a sadness there, couple of times she was getting choked up a bit. Hope all is well, she deserves to be happy.
Love Firefly Lane watched season 1 twice and started to binge on season 2. She is a great actress! Also, she has always been big on animal rescue and helping animals. I hope someday she will become vegan. Really love the show!
