He was the first French Canadian but no the second PM was Alexander MacKenzie. Laurier was 7th.

@@danielsolomon6227 The last election with Trudeau weakened, all Singh could was lose 20 seats and dance on the stage election night because he did not lose everything. if Mulclair was leader he could seriously taken away support from Trudeau and possibly got a minority government
keenan bob you don’t need to hold a majority or even a plurality of seats to hold power. Pre 2020 Th greens in B.C. were kingmakers with 3 seats cause neither the ndp nor liberals could get anything done without the greens. As long as the ndp keeps a strong third place they can get support from the other parties for their bills in exchange for support of whatever garbage the liberals want now. The ndp doesn’t have the funding needed to get governmental status cause they don’t have the same name recognition (or support in Quebec) to win anything.
Does that MP know Wilfred Laurier was actually the seventh Prime Minister but after Macdonald he's the only Prime Minister of significance so meh
