Glad a new Mana is coming. Reminds me of Square back in the 90s affter the success of the OG FF7, Square experimented with many new ips. Even though this is cool, I'd like a new Parasite Eve next
I don't think there is an Action RPG that lets you pick between 8 x 5 different classes. This game forgoes complicated skill trees and stuff for class customization mechanics. Like Bravely Default FF3 FF5 (?) you can slot in stuff from one class into another as you level up different classes.
There are no words for how happy I am to see Mana roaring back to life. I spent so many hours on SoM as a kid, and it has been painful all these years waiting for a proper new game ever since World of Mana on PS2 utterly flopped. I actually think the recent Gacha game might have lasted a lot Ionger had SQEX just held off until after this latest entry; Mana has been on the backburner for so long it's going to need time to re-establish an audience. Funny enough, my favorite game ever - Final Fantasy XI, has actually been carrying torch all this time and I didn't even know it until somewhat recently, as it drew a lot of inspiration from and was created in part by former Mana devs. I hope the game sells well enough to fully renew the franchise, I'll cry if it goes back into the shadows.
What was the game's difficulty like? I can imagine it's not easy to really get a solid impression if I heard correctly; the snippet y'all played was merely a 30min demo? Kinda seems like a great game for kids, sort of Zelda-esk (far from the more mature Baldur's Gate 3 audience, for instance. & I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that... it's just a different target audience)
Most of the Mana games are TOO EASY though I won't ATTEMPT this ones Hard mode unless it has a NG+ mode and you transfer over ALL 99 lvs over the current mana games have a NO NEW Future mode where EVERY SINGLE enemy is at lv 99 too bad in the Trials of Mana remake when you play on New New Future on NG+ runs lvs are the only thing that will NOT transfer over making that mode impossible to WIN battles when you start AT LV 1.
Trials had 2 additional difficulties after you beat hard (which is more like normal). It's harder than Zelda combat. Zelda is more about puzzles than battles.
Oh wow, this looks really cool and sorta old school with a new vibe! Whatever system this is going to come out on my brother and I are going to have to get it so we can play it together...wait, you can switch between every character...then it's only single player...eh, then there's absolutely no rush to play it...if ever.
Nah, it is not a new take. Is actually going back to basics and what the series was all about. If anything, it was about time. I do wish they made it a full controllable party member of 4 instead of 3 (regardless if she's just a sacrificial lam)
I don't really like that everything is balanced to really low hp stats. Its kinda lazy. I struggled with loving games like ni no kuni because of this. Progression always felt slow and sometimes even pointless as some skill you get 10 levels later does only 5 damage more than the previous. It looks like less, it feels like less, it is ultimately less. Just unlocked a high mp attack in kuni at level 35 and i did like 75 dmg. Compared to my 60-65 regular attack dmg. It's really underwhelming.

bro , don't forget Vagrant Story
Nah they hate PE man 😭😭😭
I think a remake might be a good idea, reintroducing it for a new generation.

The more I see of this the more they’re steadily winning me over on this.
This game looks amazing!

Great to see another mana game, a def cop for me. Thanks gamespot for another great video.
This really looks like they learned from what worked in the Trials of Mana. Can’t wait to play this!
Oh wow this looks great.
Looking forward to this one!
About this demo will it actually get put on PSN's PS4/PS5 as a demo or even on the X box line of systems.
sonic is the common enemy
It always has been
It's giving me KH2 vibes and I'm on board
Me too! I loved playing the Trials of Mana remake and I can't for this game!
Come on. It's not that bad.

The mana series fans have now grown up and are 25+ not really targeting kids and kids these days mostly prefer fortnite or roblox anyway
@@veghesther3204 You call SD3/ToM in it's SNES version easy?
Also what did comma do to you that you don't wanna use them?
I only played the Remaster of SD 3 on the PS4 and ITS still too easy.

While brief, the cutscene animation looks MILES better than the Trials of Mana remake!

I adored trials remake, so glad they're following through with something else similar to it
how about the side activities?
What is the kid from ni no kuni 2 doing here
its look so beautiful
I hope that the Charlotte uwu stuff doesn't repeat with this game. What they forced upon her during localisation was uncalled for and unnecessary.

Poor monsters..
game looks great!
Great video
This time the cast if full harem mode. only girls in this one.
ブレスオブファイア3リメイク頼むわマジで
Wrong company lol
Ask Capcom
Coop?
Happy to see a new game in this franchise, but if this is the game it looks like a switch game/mobile game to be honest
Im in.❤
This is what ni no kuni should have become
Will it be on the switch?
Coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS4/5, Windows and Steam
I guess, like with Persona 3 Reload and some other releases, devs slowly transitioning to Switch 2. So, looks like it'll be on Nin console in 2025.
LOL, Sonic!
The character with cat ears a female or male?
Male.
@@elhazthorn918 thanks!
Did you say you played THIRTY MINUTES? If so, that's not really useful for anything in my eyes :S

Ni No Kuni was just mid tho tbh
If it's $40 it's a buy for me. I loved trials of mana and if runs as smooth as that it's a buy.
Which pronoun does this swordcat have?
*Gender
He/him, according to other sources that have played the game. His name's Morley!
