      so it MUST BE 5:6 ratio, for MYDesign to work right? not just this particular example

    • @CurtisBlackmore
      @CurtisBlackmore ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FreshArtsy you can set it up however you like, for clothing - we recommend a 5:6 aspect ratio for the print area.

      @@CurtisBlackmore omg u are amazing, but u should include an toggle when publish to automatic renew listing or manual, not a big deal. Since I have to go into draft to publish anyway -.- Another thing is the platform is amazing, but it looks hella intimidating to someone new. once u use it, 5min is all u need. and esty's seller to buyer ratio is way better. but chatGPT trained ppl to just want everything to be done and looks intuitive and simple. (mydesign is simple, it just seems intimidating at first) This is one factor why it is growing slowly than it should.

      does this work for PSD mockup of a blanket that has creases and folds??

    • @CurtisBlackmore
      @CurtisBlackmore ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheChromePoet yes, it works for basically any type of mockup you can do in Photoshop with a smart object which is basically anything.
      Blankets, ect. will work perfectly if you set it up according to our guidelines. :)

    omg you guys have no idea how great this is. creating mock up with my own mockup images is the final stage of pain-in-my-ass time that I have to spend... everything else is done through a combination of script, gpt, and mydesigns. oh and creating the digital product themselves -_-

    Hello Curtis
    Oh my such an incredible tool!! I bought into this w you a couple of months ago and learning something new every week.
    Thank you so much for your training here and all you offer.
    Question re mockups and PS file setup.
    For a mock up image of wall art w 2 or 3 diff images same size sets, am
    I able to do three place holder layers with three images?
    Are the place holders you mentioned unique to your software, does your place holder have to be used?
    Can I create a layer name it my-design and that layer will be seen by my design to insert the mock up
    Images?
    And
    What do I name the layers to place two or three images in the photo shop file that will hold the mock up image of two or three empty picture frames on a wall?
    Hope you see this. It’s been a year but still a great help and another great feature/tool.
    Thank you!!!

    Hi Curtis, thank you for making this! I am struggling to find a copy of the aspect ratio md-design.png you show in this video anywhere on MyDesigns website. Is there a link or place to find this? Thanks!

    It would be super dope if we could also do the one video etsy allows with an after effects file.

    • @CurtisBlackmore
      @CurtisBlackmore ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great idea. Videos are a lot harder to work with, but we are working on video mockups functionality, and released our video mockups generator a few weeks ago, but it's very basic transitional effects between mockups at the moment.

    Hi Curtis, I'm working on creating some custom mockups now. I realize I may not be able to use many of the ones I own because the photos are vertical vs horizontal. They are some of my favorite mockups! I'm wondering if given the size of 4500 x 5400, if I can put a vertical photo on there sideways and then turn it right side up in MD. Is that an option?

    • @CurtisBlackmore
      @CurtisBlackmore ปีที่แล้ว

      There are various guides here on TH-cam on how to set it up, it's a bit more advanced, but once you learn how to do it, it's not too difficult.

    In the video you refer to making a "displacement" vs changing the opacity. Can you please share what that is or how to do it, for higher quality mockups, or share the video where you teach that. Thank you .

    This method is only effective for flat-surfaced products. When creating a mockup for a cylindrical item, such as a mug or tumbler, the results may appear unrealistic or unappealing. A different approach is required to make the 'Placeholder' wrap around the mug or tumbler, which will make the design look more realistic. Do you have a video explaining how to do this?

  • @Celtic-Willow

      This video is a bit outdated, but the process still works.
      Did you add a blank image inside the smart object layer covering the entire area? That's the image MyDesigns replaces with your image and it's required.

    Who else hopes that Mydesigns would invest in offering professional mockups not created by AI, akin to those available on platforms like Printify, Printful, Gelato, and others?

      @@mydesignsio it does work but it doesn't align up perfectly for some reason, I literally spent the ENTIRE DAY back to back, 2 days straight trying to figure it out... so I was trying to create a new mockup for Canvas Wall Art 4x5 ratio, and for some reason it just won't align perfect in MD, but in photoshop it shows it works perfectly, I just can't seem to figure it out... it has me so freaking stumped man... I must of re-imported the mockup into MD over 100 times each day to see if it work, I would go back into Photoshop and adjust some things, and re-import it but I don't know.... it just won't align perfect in MD for some reason...

    how you adjust the design on the mockup??

    • @mydesignsio
      @mydesignsio  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The design on your mockup completely depends on the "design file" that you're using to create your mockup. However that design file is setup is where it will appear on the mockup.
