With that average speeds and RPM's 30.9 is amazingly great. I could manage 30+ if I ride sanely then (not everyday we ride 100+ right). More than happy that I've booked it
Reserve to reserve is the best, i agree totally, i have testing my bikes fuel efficiency like that since years..... It irritates me when people test with fuel, it's simple thing they can't understand 😤
True. The issue is "herd mentality". One TH-camr did that inaccurate test of filling up the tank, riding for 20-30 km and then filling it up again, and everyone followed suit 🤦 The audience is so gullible that it didn't even question them that dude, are you f**kin serious? Because there would always be a variance when you say, "bhayya thoda aur daalo, bas ab ruk jao" 🤣 (no pun intended )
@@RealAutoReviews well a lot of bikes have issues with their sensors because of which this reserve light may not always be accurate, i know my FZ had it back in 2017, same with pulsar 200 which my friend used to ride with me. I think filling tank fully and riding around for around 100kms and getting it filled again is still the simplest and most reliable method
@dot6441 nope. Reserve to reserve is way more reliable and accurate. The other method is downright unreliable, but unfortunately made.famous by those TH-camrs who cannot differentiate between a flute and a baffle.
@@RealAutoReviews genuinely curious. Could you please explain how the other method is downright unreliable whereas reserve to reserve is more reliable and accurate?
I use 2 methods and both have been consistent With carburetor engines, my method was to carry 1L of petrol and ride till bike hits reserve n bike turns off then add the 1L petrol to the tank and ride again till I hit reserve. 2nd method is to fill the tank but only till the nozzle auto cuts off, ride for a 100 km and go back to the same bunk, same pump and refill till the nozzle auto cuts off. This eliminates human error. I have got the same results is both methods most times with less than 5% error a few times. There are multiple solutions to the same prob, dont restrict yourself to one imo.
@@RealAutoReviews You're experienced, I understand. No one is denying that bro... Why are you getting offended? My first method is basically same as yours. I just mentioned my second method as a good alternative, what's the real concern with that method? especially when it's giving the save numbers as the reserve to reserve method
@@sirgobbledygook it's not accurate. Reserve to reserve, and tankful-reserve-tankful-reserve are the only proper ways to measure fuel efficiency correctly. Everything else has way bigger inaccuracies.
Great job, I don't know if I'm wrong but I have a question - the bike meter shows the mileage and trip count so how does it compare against the manual calculations?
@@RealAutoReviewsbut if indicated mileage coincides with actual calculations, it means the Sensor Mileage is correct. Or not.. I would always compare the two..to see if there is variance..and whether it's negative or positive
@sanjaysharma-jf8fv you couldn't be MORE WRONG. The indicated fuel efficiency figures have NOTHING to do with the manual calculations AND reserve light (like you mentioned in your separate comment). The instant and average FE figures AND even the range is based on how you have been riding. IN EVERY VEHICLE.
That test was better with manual reserve valve. With digital reserve indicators accuracy is way off bro..if my experience of Mahindra & RE is relevant..across diff models
Mahindras', Tatas', and REs' (except the new Himalayan) reserve lights are temperamental. This one's isn't. So, yes, you can take this as gold standard. Guess what, a friend who owns one and has completed over 7500 km corroborates my findings 😊

Planning to buy 400x inshallah,,thanks for real mileage test,,m relaxed,,chosen ryt bike
what if the reserve light is functioning wrong?
My display showing 29 kmpl. Mainly highway rides with some city traffic. Still to test the real mileage.

In Kolkata I asked 4-5 Scrambler 400 owners. None of them are getting more than 18 kmpl in the city. So buy after thinking long and hard.
Depends totally on their riding.
I am in Chennai and ride it in full traffic and I constantly getting 28 to 29. In real time.
@msudhakarpaul awesome
My scrambler is giving fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl , does my bike have any issue because I ride it very gently
What's your odo reading and how are you calculating the fuel efficiency??
Same with me bro I am getting 17 kmpl. How is your bike doing now?
Smartly put video for a precisely done test. Another great test video 😀
Thanks bro ❤️
If i change gear at lower speeds and ride in low rpm at 60-70 speed will i get 30 mileage?
bro rtr 310 vs triumph speed 400 which is better in terms of speed and acceleration?
Haven't ridden the RTR yet bro
Bruh Iam planning to buy a bike , not able to choose between classic 350 and scrambler 400x, is the mileage difference between this two very much?
Totally different bikes! You really need to sit back and identify your priorities first.
sir app e20 wala petrol use kiya ?? please reply
Oh my God that’s very decent efficiency for a 400cc!

Don't assume too much. Four out of my five motorcycles are carburetted. Have been doing this since the early '90s.

Almost the same
How is the braking sir with new set of tyres?
