People are really overlooking the Netherlands. Can’t anyone else see us being bang average or less once again and losing? We’ve literally drawn the last 4 games.

England have improved over the tournament. They have built bags of momentum confidence in the last two games which will be crucial for the semi-final. Hopefully they have polished certain areas and had a look at themselves over the last few days. If not I can’t see them winning the Euros.

I think we should be concerned because we’ll sit back as usual and they’ll be the most offensive team we’ve faced. If we concede in the first 30 minutes I think we’re in trouble. We only like to have a go when we have to late in games. If we are forced to open up early they may get the second goal and we’re toast.

I remember after watching England in the last Euros I felt they had the talent and depth to win in the next Euro. Despite all the challenges they’ve had this time around I maintain that feeling and really believe they can win the trophy this year we will see.

If it was outside the box, it is a free kick, so in my thoughts, yes, it is a penalty. No matter where on the pitch, the same rules must apply. I have seen countless free kicks given for the same type of foul, which is a miss timed block or tackle

Let the game decide. These are the half finals, and we Dutch are doing our best, and the same counts for England. As much as I love England as a country, I wish you all the best. Hopefully we, the Dutch will win.
I'm Irish. I think the Dutch team is uneven and just as likely to concede goals as to score them. England.....well......it's obvious, isn't it. Disjointed, but possibly resilient due to how conservative Southgate is in setting his team up. For the most entertaining final Holland need to go through. I do think England might hold off Spain better though (at least for most of the match). Anyway, we will find out in a few hours time.

The Dutch in my view got a better chance of winning coz like Spain they have a strong defence ...if they manage to score it would be very hard for England to break down VVD and co but the same cant be said about England's ability to defend a lead over 90 mins.Moreover Ake is one rare defenders who is capable of keeping Saka quiet.

In all the games at the Euros so far England have only scored a solitary goal in 90min. The Dutch have scored more than one goal in I think two if not three games. The English should get worried

Well it will be a poor game, both teams struggled to get here, both with easy games especially England.The England we use to watch and enjoy is gone 10/14 years ago.I just think it will be a free final for Spain no matter which team gonna get through and well deserved as Spain had a very hard group and had to beat Portugal and France after.

Last night's semi-final between France & Spain was a footballing delight worthy of a final, sadly tonight's game is promising to be less entertaining or enjoyable. Whoever comes out on top tonight will face a Spanish team in the final at the top of their game and will need a massive dose of luck to beat them.
I find it perverse that Southgate has put so much focus on penalties and yet he is persisting on playing Kane even though he is clearly unfit and or injured.

If we go back to the golden generation, Beckham was player of the year. If Shearer, Owen or Rooney had played for Bayern they probably would have been to Bundesliga scorer (no disrespect meant here, btw). Bellingham is the big one - he has obviously done so well to achieve so much at such a young age, his mentality is on another level, but it wouldn't have been beyond a young Scholes ability-wise to bang goals in for this Madrid side like he did for United when he started his career as a forward.
I think Southgate has created unity, taken away some of the pressure and brought pleasure back to wearing the shirt, and improved vastly England's abilities in shootouts. But still the luck of the draw is the main reason England have done well under him. They've still never beaten a major nation in a knockout match outside of England in all of history.
