I live in Japan and just wanted to comment that the stained glass puzzles have more than just Ghibli for those of you who want to try them. They have them for basically everything. Pokemon, Disney, anime and more. The Disney ones are sold under their own brand but I have put together a Stitch one, a Marie one and a Nightmare Before Christmas one. Not only have I done most of the Ghibli minis, but similar to the 1000 piece Totoro style - they have 300 to 500 piece versions if you don’t want one quite as big. I have also done a Sailor Moon one, an Eevee Evolution one and Nezuko from Kimetsu no Yaiba. I am not sure how readily available the others are in America, but a mini runs about 800yen and the 300 piece ones are around 2300 yen give or take (they often go on sale here though so I get them cheaper) All but Disney are sold under the brand ‘Ensky’ in Japanese. It might not be very English friendly, but they do have a website with all of them. Most of you may have saw in the video but just in case I did want to add the the Artboard Jigsaw (the plastic one) is made by Pintoo. So if you have ever done a Pintoo puzzle its the same pieces. Again, they have a variety of anime and Disney for this style. Also, even though they are Pintoo puzzles they are sold by Ensky in Japan. From what I can gather, Pintoo makes them and Japan distributes them. Pintoo also make ‘mame’ (bean) puzzles from a variety of anime, they are micro puzzles and only 150 pieces. Those run about 1200 yen and the artboard ones are typically in the 3500 yen range. The only thing I cannot confirm is if the Disney plastic canvas ones are Pintoo or not, I have seen them in the store but never looked too closely or done one myself. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in them ❤

I was expecting to be shocked by the prices but for the quality you're getting they're really not that bad. Definitely a little more expensive than cardboard puzzles but that's to be expected. Definitely going to look in to getting some of the smaller ones.
I just completed my own one thousand piece puzzle and I honestly thought it would take me ages but I followed your strategy of flipping the pieces all over and separating it by texture and it made it so much easier. So thank you from this amateur puzzler
My favourite Ghibli movie is Kaguya Hime Monogatari, breath-takingly beautiful work by Isao Takahata. The art style, the thoughtful digging into Japanese folklore and a modern, humanist interpretation of it, the music. A true Japanese artpiece, a gem. It took 13 years to made, and is Mr. Takahata's last work.

I actually went out and bought a couple of the smaller art crystal puzzles when you first mentioned them because they looked so satisfying. They were perfect for a small, self-contained activity for relieving my stress around the winter holidays! My favorite Studio Ghibli film is probably Howl's Moving Castle, so I was disappointed that it wasn't really represented in the puzzles I saw...but the other images are still very cute!!

I've seen these before but i didn't expect them to hold together so well. I just wish whoever manufactured these made non Ghibli puzzles. I'm not an anime person and am not in to displaying fan stuff in my home but these look great and i would love some puzzles in this style that i would actually want to have displayed
Same, after seeing this I went looking and only found Studio Ghibli and Disney, and a Sailor Moon. They are lovely, and I love Ghibli movies, but for my taste I think some Art Nouveau designs would be amazing... Maybe we'll see more options in Art Crystal puzzles in the future!

Wow, this is perfect timing. My 4th anniversary is coming up and the traditional gift is fruit or flowers. I've been struggling for weeks to find something I think my husband will enjoy. When I saw the first puzzle I immediately thought this is it! He loves puzzles and Studio Ghibli, and several of the ones you did today feature flowers prominently. It will be so satisfying seeing his face when he opens his present!

Studio Ghibli is a studio from Japan that's made a bunch of animated movies! The puzzles show characters from those movies. And I agree, the snapping sounds are satisfying.

As to these particular puzzles, I've already ordered two. I'm a big fan of Studio Ghibli but had no idea these puzzles existed, so many thanks for that. I don't really do puzzles all that often, but I still love watching your videos because they're calm and relaxing. But watching these particular puzzles go together and then get hung on the windows...it's just so satisfying. To the point that I think I'm actually considering purposefully searching one out to make.

I’ve done some of the smaller Ghibli ones before and really enjoyed them. And a Ghibli puzzle of any sort is calming to put together, just because of the pictures! I’m really looking forward to seeing you work on the Ten Hundred puzzle when that comes out!
To display your puzzle on your low window sill, I suggest stacking a few books on top of each other, and then placing the jigsaw picture on top. Add a plant etc beside it for a cosy look and some greenery.
Spirited Away is my all time favorite Ghibli movie. There are so many lovely ones. I have put together the Spirited Away mini puzzle and I found a little glass frame for it, too. I did not know they made a special frame for them!
ive never seen such wonderful puzzles. they got every single redeeming feature of a puzzle and put it in one. AND created a self-framing mega-satisfying post-puzzle activity. madness
Thanks for reviewing these! I never would have known these even existed but as soon as I saw them I thought they'd make a great present for my brother since he loves puzzles and Studio Ghibli movies. I gave him the 1000 piece Totoro Season's Tidings puzzle for Christmas and we put it together today. It was fun to make and looks beautiful. My brother loves that it looks like stained glass!
I loved the mini puzzles. I have a little brother. He's 6 and he started to show interest in puzzles, like me. I bought him 2 48 piece puzzle and he is obsessed with it. I was worried that it'll be difficult to solve but he made both of them in less than 3 hours . I would love to have one each and solve them with him

My sister bought me the 1000 piece Disney stain glass art jigsaw puzzle and it is by far the most satisfying puzzle I have ever done. The sound of click of the plastic is just great. The puzzle was expensive but worth it xxx
Ghibli movies are so satisfying! Some of my other favorites are Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, and Howl's Moving Castle, but there are so many other good ones. I've tried a few of these plastic puzzles, but I definite have to be in the right mood for them.
Satisfying, indeed! I bought a couple of the small ones and the medium one a year or two ago, but never put them together. These are so much more beautiful than I realized! I might get more as gifts for my parents. ❤
I'm someone without any work space and whose cats would mess it up even if I had it. But the way those hold together make me think it would be easy to do small sections and attach at the end. I have two of the tiny puzzles and it was super satisfying to make. They are really redoable as many times you want just for fun or to have a relax moment in your daily life.
Gotta say, it made me really happy to see that you were doing the Studio Ghibli puzzles for this video. I spent part of my Thanksgiving weekend with my niece last year solving two of the mini puzzles since my niece recently got into puzzle solving. These puzzles are really pretty and nice to have on display.
I had a Sunday schedule change, so I get to these a little earlier. So satisfying! I really can’t think of another channel where I’m in the middle of an activity, knowing the video is out, and I can’t wait to get home and watch it!
the other thing I like ~100 piece puzzles for is after I complete puzzles with 1500 pieces or more. just relaxing with a beautiful small puzzle after a beautiful huge puzzle is so nice

Plastic puzzle idea is so interesting Those puzzles are amazing, putting pieces in is satisfying, it is see through, no false fits, amazing looking pictures, fun to do, you can literally pick it up and carry around These puzzles are just perfect, I wish I could get one
Such beautiful puzzles! My favourite Ghibli movies are the lil older productions of "Nausicaä of the valley of the wind" and also "Grave of the Fireflies". They're definitely not as traditionally wholesome and "a bundle of family friendly magic" as Totoro and Kiki's delivery service are known to be, but they have this weight of importance that i appriciate and the art is just as beautiful imo. "Grave of the Fireflies" especially will break most ppl as it portrays the very cruel reality of many children during wartimes. But it's a beautifully made movie of a really grim story.

I have one if these puzzles and they're AMAZING!! They snap together so tight it basically won't come undone unless you make it come undone.
Good thing with these is that you don’t have to start by flipping 1000 pieces, you’re good to go right away! So satisfying!

I'm someone without any work space and whose cats would mess it up even if I had it. But the way those hold together make me think it would be easy to do small sections and attach at the end. And they're gorgeous. Congrats, I think I'm gonna buy and do my first puzzle since I was a kid. Hope it's as satisfying as your videos make them seem

I have two of the tiny puzzles and it was super satisfying to make. They are really redoable as many times you want just for fun or to have a relax moment in your daily life.
I found the stained glass Totoro one at Barnes and noble, I’ve done it 4 times. So pretty, fun and satisfying!

Gotta say, it made me really happy to see that you were doing the Studio Ghibli puzzles for this video. I spent part of my Thanksgiving weekend with my niece last year solving two of the mini puzzles since my niece recently got into puzzle solving. These puzzles are really pretty and nice to have on display.
Choosing a favorite from all the amazing movies that Studio Ghibli had released is very difficult, but Princess Mononoke takes my #1 spot!

I had a Sunday schedule change, so I get to these a little earlier. So satisfying! I really can’t think of another channel where I’m in the middle of an activity, knowing the video is out, and I can’t wait to get home and watch it!
the other thing I like ~100 piece puzzles for is after I complete puzzles with 1500 pieces or more. just relaxing with a beautiful small puzzle after a beautiful huge puzzle is so nice
oh i have the small Totoro one. i got it at Gamestop awhile ago. i loved doing it. so satisfying to snap the pieces into place

I got one of the crystal Howl's Moving Castle ones as a gift and now it's up in my window, I love it. That's by far my fave ghibli film, you need to watch it!

Those puzzles are amazing, putting pieces in is satisfying, it is see through, no false fits, amazing looking pictures, fun to do, you can literally pick it up and carry around

Such beautiful puzzles! My favourite Ghibli movies are the lil older productions of "Nausicaä of the valley of the wind" and also "Grave of the Fireflies". They're definitely not as traditionally wholesome and "a bundle of family friendly magic" as Totoro and Kiki's delivery service are known to be, but they have this weight of importance that i appriciate and the art is just as beautiful imo.
"Grave of the Fireflies" especially will break most ppl as it portrays the very cruel reality of many children during wartimes. But it's a beautifully made movie of a really grim story.
