I believe I followed this right but getting no guitar to the computer. Doesn't even show I'm hitting notes. Any ideas?
You can just click monitor button to turn it off, beside the record button in the track itself, to remove the doubling effect. No need to I/O setup or turn down the music volume knob in your spark :)

Thank you for this tutorial, very helpful indeed, but I am using a MOOER GE-200 and using ASIO FORALL driver, I recorded guitar but there is no signal coming and recording doesn't happen, I checked song set up like you did and I see all input and output are there, what could be wrong? please help
awesome helpful video. But at 9:27 when I hit the top button to allow it to record it doesn't light up? And I dont get a signal to record?
Please do a video on recording using the smart jam or backing track. I can't get the them to work with the USB recording. Thanks for the great content!!

Hi. I finally bought the Spark and received it today. Really good sound. I still have to investigate all the features. One thing though, even if I put the sustain at the max position I cant keep the note sounding for more than a few seconds. I,d like to get the sound Gary Moore uses on the Loner (for example). The note dies soon Could you please give me some advice? I guess I,m using the wrong pedals or settings.Thanks for the help and the nice tutorials. Best wishes
Trying turning off or turning way down the settings on the noise gate pedal. I would turn it off if you’re not using a distortion or overdrive sound.

What if you wanted to hear track 1 while recording track 2? Is there any way to get it to play back track 1 while you play track 2 without it getting that overlayed sound through the amp?
Use headphones while listening back to it, i guess
So, how would I be able to hear the tone I've selected in Spark while I"m recording? Monitors or any speaker also connected to computer? AH,,, so just turn down the Music Volume knob so you don't get the doubling, but you can hear your selected tone. Just got to that part of the video :-)
You can hear it through either the Spark speakers (or headphones connected to Spark) and mute the software. I recommend that, because if you “listen” to the presonus studio output instead, it will be slightly delayed.

Hi, Can I ask please, has yourself or anyone ever tried any plugins from plugin alliance? With the Spark anp through Studioi one - maybe someone could assist me here. I got some really nice plugins from plugin alliance : Rockergain 100, distorange also; thinking about a couple of others, for the extra tones, and sounds you can generate with them. Trouble being when I got the plugins active within the DAW, I can't hear any difference, just get the current Spark preset. Wondering is this down to Spark having it's own, or a setting, if so is there a way around this? Also got a Presonus Studio 24C box, having that connected instead of my spark may work, but not tried that step as yet!? Probably have to Microphone to my Spark if I use that. Any feedback appreciated!

i can hear my guitar through the spark but no input signal shows up on the gaff line in recording section.
Sounds like maybe the track input is not properly assigned.

ok I am an older guy who knows nothing about any of this...all I want to do is record me jamming to the backing tracks but like Keegan Chaput (below) I cant get the backing tracks to record!!!! Can someone please figure it out and let me know how to record the cool backing tracks so I can jam over them and record myself for posterity lol
i cant set my spark 40 as audio device on studio one: i get error: "The audio device Positive Grid USP Audio device could not be initialized. Please check your hardware configuration and try again. But when I put windows audio as my audio device instantly get audio from my pc to spark 40. actually as soon i plug it in, i can hear my pc audio on spark 40. my question is what i need to do to set my spark 40 as audio device, so i can record sound?

@@wavesubz7571 na, it’s common error that windows users have. its started happening after last firmware update. few months ago, on official forums, devs said they are working to resolve the issue. no update so far…. best thing to do is to use mcboook if you have it, if not all you can do is l, wait….

Positive Grid USB Audio Device Controller (ASIO) not registering Spark Mini
PreSonus Studio One 5 says it isn't launching Correctly, I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice made sure the MINI's firmware is up to date and it's still not working.
Does anybody else have this issue and know a fix?
I have not encountered that. I take it you are running windows?
@@sparkamptutorials2169 Yea, windows 10. I've contacted support but they're slow to respond. I've been looking on their site and anywhere else I can find any info at all about it but I haven't found anything on it.
Good intention but big waste of time next time do the download and install.
