I've become a huge RC fan after watching all of your vids over the past month, your enthusiasm and fun approach made me intrigued to start a RC hobby myself. This vid finally pushed me over the edge to get an Arrma Gorgon because it seems tough and I can learn how to upgrade it in the future.

Well the nice part of cheap tires is that you don't feel bad for destroying them. I used to buy ProLine stuff back in the early days, then ended up driving not too crazy not to destroy them, or the drive train (some of those tires are so heavy!). I really just enjoy the inexpensive tires instead, shredding them without regrets. Also: be sure to tape the breathing hole on the rim, if water or sand enters it can rip the tire apart with the added weight.

You never disappoint! Would you mind if i link this video at the end of my next Gorgon video? Since you got to within 1 MPH of my top speed, I thought it would be cool to highlight the differences in how we got those so speeds with otherwise stock Gorgons. Your set up is actually more stable than mine though. I ran 6500Kv on 3s, you ran 3500Kv on 6s, but i think your way is better because you were actually able to use more of your systems ability than i was able to use of mine. In short 6500Kv is way too much to be stable unless your doing no prep drag racing. I think i might try an approach more like yours.

Glue tires with a syringe for feeding baby calves (cow) or bigger syringes you can find at like a fleet farm or mabe like a animart. Put the glue in the syringe and you have alot more control of where you want the glue to go!

Btw wish I was recording. I threw my prototype/ that plane from my porch after few adjustments from last test flight. Well. Went way further than expected. It's a car parked 3 houses down on other side of street thrown from my front porch. I was oh no. I'm sorry!! It's an experimental project. Ugh!! Rofl. I can't afford the Rc cars anymore. So I went to dollar tree and made airplanes out of foamboard for couple dollars a piece. ;) if you get board. I suggest couple dollars and hot glue . You can definitely find a new adventure with in

new to the hobby! i have one of these in stock and i've upgraded the battery but how do you make it so fast?
Well I changed out the brushed system with a brushless system. Changed to a bigger pinion and increased the ESC to take a 6s battery. Take a look in the description below 👇 there are some links to some cheap brushless setups that would work well on this rig if you are thinking about it

You need to buy the Arrma 12mm hex pack. After market ones are no good and don't fit 👍

Hey bro how do you like those wheels on a sct on 3s? Have they held up well for that? Was looking into those budget ones for a sct on 3s/45-50mph
They are kinda meh honestly. They are soft and tear easily on rocks. They handled ok-ish at 60mph, but they won't last long if it's your daily. But for the price, they are cheap enough to give them a shot 👍

You can't, the chassis design won't allow for 4wd with complete reengineering. At that point it's not worth the time or money to do when you can buy a purpose built 4wd car for the same price 👍

I got 2 for my nephews and every time I take them to the tack its $80+ also sucks if it want one of the pre painted you have to buy the kit that comes with 75% of the plastics for $60 or pay $40 and get just a unpainted body that doesn't even come with the body clips....
