Hi Lalitha - There are Factory Finance and Supply Chain Finance Manager roles you can explore but they typically require a degree in Finance. Hope this helps.
Jameel , thanks for the instructive video which helps us make the right decisions. I’ve been in procurement for 4 years for a small company. Looking to expand my wings on to bigger grounds.
@jameelhye whoooosh, that went over your head, huh? The title of your video is will having the S.C. Cert help you land a job? The short answer is no. The long answer is, "I'm a procurement manager although I went to uni for chemistry. So, while having a degree helped me get the interview, it was my ability to convey competence that ultimately landed me the role."

Hey Jameel! Im 23 and found a serious interest in supply chain. I used to work at Fedex but now am in inventory management/purchasing for a large HVAC distributor. I was looking at taking a CLTD certification through APICS, do you think that would be beneficial? im in the USA.
Definitely. CLTD will further cement your expertise in Logistics. However if your goal is to move to planning you may want to explore CPIM or CSCP for a wider overview of supply chain.

Hello, I don't have any degrees, but I have been a manager for a contractor through comcast for ten years. I have also run my own personal business, supplying over one hundred and fifty stores for seven years. Inflation and pandemic have shut both doors for me, and i'm looking for career change. What certifications should I put together to get a supply chain job that will pay me at least 70k starting. Any help would be great Thanks and nice video.
