    Coach, can you make a video about rubbers? Difference between european and chinese rubbers?

    • @MrBenjo2000
      @MrBenjo2000 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can answer that for you. The difference between European and Chinese rubbers are as follows. A rubber consists of two elements, which are the sponge and the top sheet. Chinese rubbers have a hard, sticky top sheet and underneath a hard, dense sponge. Such rubbers have almost no catapult effect. Catapult effect means, the sponge enhances the power you put into the ball. You have to put less effort into your shot, to make it powerful. European rubbers have a tacky top sheet and compared to Chinese rubbers, the sponge is medium hard and has a lot of catapult effect. The reason why the European and Chinese rubbers are so different, is simply the play style. The Chinese play style needs a very good physique, because you generate power from the ground. The forehand strokes are usually very long and demanding. The European play style is less demanding, because the rubber does a lot of work for you through the catapult effect and therefore especially the forehand strokes are shorter. If you are an amateur, I wouldn't recommend a Chinese rubber. Hope that helps :)

    I don’t know. This French should check Samsonov’s serve. This Chinese serve doesn’t fit him at all. Kinda awkward.
