Macross VFX 2 was my first robotech/macross game. I borrow the demo disc from my little brother and I can't stop playing it every time. I was 14 when we have the ps1. Good times!!

I love how as the years went on, the technology was better able to try and bring the Macross experience in video game form. It's just that for a fan since the 1980s, it sucked that none of these games were able to be brought to the USA due to licensing problems. I know the license issues have been resolved in 2021, but we're talking about 40 years of Macross games, media that never had proper releases outside Japan. 40. Years.

En su momento como goce el Macross Plus Game edition, era como estar dentro de la historia, me emocionaba con cada misión completada y las cinemáticas, el VFX-2 también era muy bueno, el Scrambled Valkyrie de SNES lo cerré varias veces, de lo más bajito el DYRL Arcade y de los Macross para PS3 la barrera del idioma los alejan

amo Do You Remember Love para PsX, siempre lo vuelvo a jugar, como es cortito, un par de horas lo pasas, lo tengo siempre en la psvita listo para jugar
yo lo emule, y me lleve la sorpresa que se puede jugar con graficos sin comprimir, y se ve muy bueno (no se ven los poligonos pixelados), pero de todas formas el juego merece un remake!
@georg alexan yo diría que es limitación gráfica esos eran los comienzos de la NES sólo a mediados de los 90 los juegos pudieron sacarle el máximo rendimiento a la consola
Porque era comercial e tinha pouca memória para algo complexo como demais jogos. Se fosse planejado para ser um Gradius, aí sim teria fases variadas Aliás, existia um de Nes, que não lembro o nome, no qual o caça, que virava robô, entrava por um labirinto e tinha que achar a saída enfrentando outros robôs e naves, achava aquilo um tipo de Macross não -oficial
Thank you for this compilation! I was wondering where one of the games I had played was, then reminded myself that Robotech: Battlecry (PS2) was _not_ actually a Macross game. Looked a bit like Macross VF-X2 and M3, though, and not quite as good as The SDF Macross from 2003.
@@SNKBossSyndrom At least according to the Wikipedia entry, it was made specifically as a Robotech - not Macross - game, by TDK Interactive (Japanese owned, but used as "a video game publishing subsidiary in North America") in conjunction with Harmony Gold USA. Harmony Gold licensed Macross content just to turn it into Robotech in the U.S. Side note: since this was all sourced from Wikipedia, I'm happy to be corrected on any of it!
@@Makurosu if we were debating about story differences I would understand it, but at a videogame level I don't see the reason, for me they are the same thing. If I love playing with Valkyrie, macross or robotech are the same thing. But okay.

Uma vez tentei fazer um para DS, mas não terminei, seria chamado de Macross; Independent Love Song, usando como plot uma frota que devido um fold jump mau executado, isolou-se num quadrante bastante afastado da galáxia (similar a Voyager)

Unfortunately for those who liked this game, it is no longer supported. But this year a new game is coming that unfortunately looks like a cell phone game but it is better than having nothing at all.
The only game that officially came out of Japan and it was just in the United States was the superspace fortess macross for arcade, of course you can also buy a console and its respective game in some retro market.
at the time when the best ace combat game out i was hoping that they use all the thing they learn to make game that look and feels like ace combat but is robotech and you can use all the models of jets from all the movies and series
Los únicos que pude jugar fueron el VFX-2 (El mejor juego por lejos) y el Macross Plus, era buenísimo pero nunca pude terminarlo, no sabía cómo pasar el último nivel, ya que ambos los jugué en japonés me costó mucho... Ahora le estoy rejugando al VFX-2 en el teléfono y me saca unas lágrimas la intro de Get free!!
En mi opinión los mejores Macross que he jugado son efectivamente el VF-X2 y el de PS2. Mención especial al Súper SpaceForttess Macross de Arcade... Es muy bonito ese juego.

Last Frontier está basado en la película sayonara no Tsubasa y si es cierto hace años sin un juego de MACROSS habrá que que esperar a la nueva serie para ver qué sale pero aún faltan muchos años para eso
It's too early to say that, as the only game that has come out for mobile is UTA and a new game is coming out this year for Switch, PS4 and PC, that is if the game as such looks like a mobile game.
Mobile games are cheap so there's not that much risk investing into them. Also at that time there was no new Macross series coming out and the Walkure group from Delta was really popular so a rhythm mobile game made sense. Now that there's a new series in development I think there's decent odds that a more traditional Macross game gets made.
The only Macross game released in North America is Super Spacefortress Macross (Arcade), the rest only in Japan because of legal conflicts with Harmony Gold.

I played an import of the famicom game back around 1987…and many in between then and now. The PSP games are still the gold standard for me.

En el NES no entendi, porque siempre se repetia la primera mision. Exelente VFX-2 Y el Bateloid de Xbox.
El de la NES sólo contaba con 1 misión que se repetía en bucle más que un juego parecía una demo.
