You need to downgrade first before doing this process. Because it wont work on latest version. If your version is .237 or 237, I highly recommend you to downgrade to its older version like .119 (i forgot the old version). I'm using my Huawei Nova 7i for two weeks now and Google still works and I already updated it to it's latest version. Take note: Don't uninstall the Purple G App when installing the new update!!! Leave it there!

Thank you so much, it worked very well, but I have a issue I keept getting a messge when I use some apps like Instagram and Gmail and that is google services is not supported by you phone, and then I press on the ok Button and everything works bit it is anoying. Do you have any solution? I also keept geting notifications from google services so I turned notifications off for google services and now it works

The solution to this problem its by going in the Play store and change the settings for the automatic updates to off before reinstalling the google play services, now i can use every app and login in all the games without notification

Can't reinstall the "Huawei backup" always get told I "already have a more current version already installed" and to "deinstall the current version first before trying to install"
I DID however deinstall the existing Huawei backup richt at the beginning. Just as this guide suggests.

This thing doesnt work on latest build, you need to downgrade 1st ur smarphone before doing this
you need to downgrade it. it works best on ELS-NX9 versions.

When I tried to install Backup apk it said, please restart your device and reinstall the app. I restarted my phone. but it says the same and that the package is invalid. It tells me to download the official app. I am gonna skip this step and hope it will work.
