Bike 2 Eiger - A story about modern alpinism

Grown up in Berchtesgadener Land, school friends Martin Schidlowski and Philipp Reiter came into contact with the legends Toni Kurz and Anderl Hinterstoißer early on during their mountain adventures together.
Fascinated by the dramatic story and the pioneering spirit of the time, the two set off on their bikes to the Eiger North Face - following in the footsteps of the two idols who died in a tragedy in 1936 on the "last unsolved problem of the Alps". While bikepacking newcomer Martin is more worried about the 3-day, 550km, 5,000m+ climb from Bad Reichenhall to Grindelwald, his best friend Philipp finds the almost 2,000m-high North Face extremely frightening.
But for the unlikely duo of mountain guide and outdoor photographer, everything turns out quite differently than planned anyway....
