    Could you please comment on using earthworms vs. pile worms?

    • @fishtherapy247
      @fishtherapy247  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If available, the pile or blood worm is better than nightcrawlers/earthworms.

      Pile worms and blood worms work better for stripers, but if you can't get either or can't afford it, night crawlers work ok.
      You can also try to catch bait fish there and use them whole live or filet them, just need a small hook and a worm or piece of meat. You may even get lucky, catch a pike minnow, and that's striper candy.

    Thanks for report. Got a question, when do l set the hook and when you throw bait out do you keep drag tight? I was at the Sacramento yacht fishing l get bites right after casting the bait but l keep missing the fish.

      Usually , you don't have to set the hook. The fish will hook himself. Set your drag about the middle or a little more. Try using a smaller hook. Good luck 👍🎣

    It’s to bad that game wardens can’t cover Sierra count much better certain groups have destroyed the deer population lately we had the most deer ever up there in 2019 but they all came back for there poaching on 2020 we caught one group in 2016 and than the deer population came back

    • @fishtherapy247

      So, Sad.That's just too bad people have to poach. Hopefully, the game warden finds those poachers

      there aren't any secret spots in Sacramento, come on man. You can float down the AR and see them all or drive along the sac river and see people. The popular spots, verona, discovery/tiscornia, the the bridges crossing the sac, um, miller park, garcia bend, freeport, any more?
