- CHIANG RAI, THAILAND - Doi Chang is a coffee paradise in Northern Thailand where some of the best coffee in Thailand is grown. But it is also one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Thailand. Of course we try the amazing Thai speciality coffee and see a coffee farm, I eat delicious local Thai food, but there are also some cool things to do in the area such as visiting the Mae Suay Dam and the Huai San Reservoir where I have some fun on the bike.

I think this is my most favourite video of yours so far and I really enjoyed it. The view on the sides of the route are stunning with that clear blue sky above the green mountains. It's good to see the origin of my favourite coffee as I drink it almost every day. The end of the video is real fun, hahaha.

Hi Joe, yes, you look like you are feeling more confident and editing is much, much improved, not that it needed too much before. Having freshly brewed/dripped coffee while staring out into the beautiful distance is...priceless. But I much prefer my cup to be white in color though, so I can see the beautiful brown/black color of coffee. Goes the same for my dishes, so the food can be the star of the show. LOL, I have a little quirk here and there. Congratulations on reaching 5k! You deserve it. Here's to the next 5K. 🍻😀
Certainly was feeling more confident at that stage and the editing is slowly improving. Only issue is, I had a two month break from filming after this northern trip so recently I have been feeling back to square one. But there's many videos to come before you see that drop in quality hahahah. Yeah, I prefer different cups but actually it was quite cool, I really liked the shape. Thanks for the 5k congratulations, I cannot believe 5,000 have subscribed actually.

It looks like you missed the Sheep place and some of my favorite coffee shops but making a loop out of the drive is definitely the way to go. The first time I drove through that water there was no-one around so I had my doubts but obviously it is not a problem.
I think the sheep place was where I stopped to show the views whilst sat on the bike right? I mentioned a viewpoint everyone was taking shots at. Which are your favourite coffee spots? Sure - a loop is the best idea, I always try to make one if I can. The ride down the back of the mountain is very beautiful too actually, would be a shame to miss it.
@@hungrytoexplore Yes, you did point to where the sheep are up on the grassy knoll. The sheep are a great marketing ploy and they are so cute and photogenic. My wife loved feeding them and posing for photos. The view from the road is nice but out there on the grassy knoll with the sheep is very special.
We like to checkout any new places we come across but the one we return to most often is Yayo Farm. It is not on the main road but it is worth the effort to find it. They have accommodation and teach classes from time to time, as well.
Joe, I can't bear the smell of coffee. My husband loves tea but he enjoys a good coffee. I am a tea lass 💯. He have to get rid of the smell on his breath before he comes near me. Anyway I just wasted your time with utter rubbish lol. Love this vlog ❤️
haha no worries, I waste everyone's time with my videos twice a week hahaha. I cannot believe you don't like coffee though. I think it is an acquired taste, if you started with the instant coffee, milk sugar and that powdered milk stuff... you may become addicted haha. Maybe it is a good thing that you don't drink it though.
