Mickey if you still in chiang rai you can drive out to pahee its a nice village in the Mountains with fresh air. But remember passport bc y go across military check no problem only the want to know who goes on the street and if they are ok because its near Myanmar, if y go there take care when you drive up to pahee.

over 10 years ago ChiangRai is considered a city that no one cares about. But a few years ago become a tourist city one of the important places in Thailand There has been a poll made by Thai people. The province that is most visited in Thailand this year. Number 1 is ChiangMai number 2 is ChiangRai, and this year Chiang Rai made income from tourism to number 7 of Thailand is considered very high.
I think the highlight of ChiangRai is a natural city And blend with the culture of the past that can still be seen harmoniously, including the tea and coffee plantations that ChiangRai is very famous for And more importantly, ChiangRai is a peaceful city. Suitable for resting from work a lot.

Thanks for the great video. I was at the Golden Triangle about 40years ago and there was nothing there except small local vendors selling smoking utensils for the Black Gold. The road leading to the Triangle was natural dirt road and was very dusty. Things have change greatly since then.

This is time for northern Thailand tour, inexpensive at all 500 THB/night. Life was tough at that time, I am very pleased that we can live peacefully now in Thailand. Because of Mae Kong river, you can see sea of clouds all year.

The sequence on the mountain is not very far from Phu Chi Fa but on the other hand it seems more difficult to access because you have to go up in an off-road car. The sunrise over Laos with the sea of clouds is an incredible experience to do. And the road to access Phu chi Fa (the old road) alone is worth the trip: I thought that I like my rental car (a normal city car!!) was going to be able to climb these crazy heights 😁🤔

While Chiangmai is bustling with cafes , I prefer a more quiet and peaceful atmosphere Chiangrai gave.Very lovely Province.
