People really slept on Legends. While I never played it that much, I always enjoy my time in the game. On top of that, the car destruction models are top notch and the AI has fantastical crashes on their own. Plus, I can actually run my game at twice the framerate of FM8. Motorfest, Legends, FM8, and GT7 are the current racing game titans with TDUSC coming very soon
How would you describe the gameplay differences? I just started the new Forza and am enjoying it but instinctively prefer Grid. But I'm trying to limit my familiarity bias. As far as looks go, Grid is definitely more contrasty, saturated, and stylized. Maybe that describes the gameplay difference a bit too, ha.
@@diamondbracelette My main issue with FM8 is that there is nothing unique about it. Other than like 3 tracks and a few cars, it's a generic racer. Grid has so many amazing fantasy tracks with fantasy cars, GT7 has VR on a console with their tracks and a good progression system and unique visuals. FM8 is just FM7 but worse on basically every way.
I own both and one thing I’ll tell you is that the better gameplay is Forza. I feel like Forza is just hated. GRID have better visuals at some parts but one game you’ll enjoy for longer hours hours is definitely Forza. Take it from me, I played both.
Grid looks more immersive but what does that matter when it drives like an arcade game lol Forza just feels souless at times…. We need Midnight club and NFS Underground type racing games back again. Games aren’t that fun anymore because it’s becoming too realistic
GRID-Legends, despite being an arcade game, offers an excellent atmosphere and immersion. The steering wheel animation inside the cars is complete, and each car has soft-lock. Forza Motorsport leans more towards simulation, but its lighting effects are somewhat peculiar. The steering wheel animation inside the cars is only 360 degrees, requiring you to manually determine your car's steering wheel angle and calculate the soft-lock setting accordingly.
Not a big fan of the arcade handling of legends but forza runs extremely poorly with max settings at 1080p on a 3070 I get 50fps and the game looks horrible dispite looking amazing in several different videos. Quite frustrating I have reinstalled it loads and installed the latest graphics drivers again and again but still runs and looks horribly. GT7 is the only racing game I can play without feeling frustrated dealing with bugs at the moment. I love the handling and overall physics of forza but it needs alot of work.
I'm sure they turned down many other Graphics settings but at least for what I've seen on TH-cam videos it is amazing that a console is able to run fm8 in 4k at 60 fps
Why cant we just get a game with good sim racing physiques in a street setting. Like i dont understand the reluctance. Forza horizon is way arcady. Nfs unbound and motorfest are legit garbage, gran turismo is the pinnacle of racing but being only track based is really not that fun. I wish they would just take gran turismo and make an underground dlc or aomething. You already have the assets and the game design. I guess i can dream.
Grid is "fantasy looking" because unlike FM they actually fleshed out tracks. City tracks as mind blowing. Fireworks, echoes and incredible details. Forza had 6 years just to under deliver.
_The important difference between them is that Grid Legends knows and understands that its an arcade game, whilst FM is an arcade game trying to sell itself as a simracer. You know what you're getting when you buy Grid._
Haven't played new Forza game yet but Grid Legends is my favorite now for sure. I did really enjoy Forza Horizon 2-3 and FM7. GT 7 is not even up there on my list. Just didn't have fun replay value in single player mode. Most go online and I guess thats where it excels as the racing will be close.

@@MrJr1976 Well then, long live Drive Club is all I can say
Motorfest is caped with 60fps on pc, I tried it today biggest crap and performance is trash to
@@husseinelharake2833 Yeah. Weird cap, but 60 is more than enough for a non-esports non-VR title
I prefer grid legends.
FM looks good and is really good. Legends is good but they are for sure not the same game type.

Codemasters really did make some amazing racing games! I hope EA doesn't ruin them...
I hear ya, last Dirt wasn't that great
They did. The last grid was terrible
@@pharaohdagr8712 at least not as shit as the older ones where to turn you need to slide for the car to turn

Both are awesome games. My potato pc won't run these 😥 hope I'll get to game one day 😓
You will

Forza is NEXT GEN
I'm loving grid ledgends. The new forza motorsport is not doing much for me.

Something is wrong with your card then cause I have a 3080 and can easily get 60 fps with 1440p maxed out

Change the monitor. Had the same issue

Yea 4 sure we need that traffic mod like acc lol
I feel like grid legends is better. I played a lot of forza motorsport 3 years ago, the lastest forza isnt the greatest in my opinion.
FM8 feels bit halfbaked, Grid still fun for what it is
Suzuka looks unrecognizable in Grid Legends. The game is too fantasy-looking. While Forza is realistic.
Who tf cares, just drive and have fun.

the sound too is baaaaad on forza its a good game but the sound man i play it without headphones bc the trash car sounds
The sound on Forza is bad? Ok buddy
@Antpile87 you can see the comparison forza vs real life forza all the cars are similar with a vacium cleaner
speak for yourself, the physics are great.
Forza looks so good.
I like grid legends

My only beef with Grid is the audio. Sounds like everything is running through a tin can
the new motorsports should be in early 2000 with this trash car sounds midnight club is better than it like wtf forza
i hope they steal ea car sounds becuase this is sad
