That was my first Samsung phone 😊❤ that iris scanner was amazing! The curve was a little bit too much for my liking, but I love the curved screen on my S22 Ultra. 🎉

This is still my main phone to this day, I haven't felt like I need to upgrade just yet even if my phone screen had burned but I can fix that I think. I still enjoy my S9+.

Update: actually my phone died last month on April not the entire phone but the LCD Screen (not the glass) it got screen burned, I was gonna see if I could get a new screen for it but it was $200 so I decided to get a new one, I was gonna buy a new one but I got in contact with my phone provider and with the plan on my contract that I pay + el seguro for if the phone breaks or something I got send a new one. I was told I was gonna receive either the same S9+ or a S10+ but nop to my surprise they send me a S20. Still I enjoyed all my years with that S9+ phone still miss it to this day.

Still using my S9+ as my main driver. Got no intentions to upgrade anytime soon - still works, battery still great, still has all the features that gives me more options for audio and storage, and reception on LTE is still stable for me.

I just got mine for 120,000naira(that's about $262) brand new. I really needed a new phone and on a very tight budget too, I checked out the newer Samsung phones but they were well above what I could spend plus they were no chargers outta the box.
I just went for this. I think it's a pretty decent phone. The speaker quality is mind-blowing!

Phones have peaked like PCs when it comes to utility and I require features like MHL video because I use DeX. Replacing the battery isn't difficult and I'll likely buy a spare since I have a Juggernaut forearm mount and case (not just military "grade" but used in the field) I don't wish to replace if I change phones. Performance isn't an issue nor do I care about software updates I don't need. Phones are approaching the point they're out of useful features to add so they take away useful features then brainwash customers to think that's an improvement.

I so miss the Iris Scanner and Face Unlock being together as Intelligent Scan. Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor just SUCKS especially the first two generations that Samsung used. Unless they have decided to use the 3D Sonic Max sensor (3rd gen Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor) from Qualcomm I would never buy another Samsung flagship phone again! Since S23 Ultra cost around USD1700 here in the Philippines for the 256GB and USD1800 for the 512GB and an astonishing USD2100 for the 1TB variant, I personally am expecting Samsung to improve the fingerprint sensor and replacing the 2nd Gen (which they used on S21 - S22 series) with the 3rd Generation one which is called the 3D Sonic Max sensor from Qualcomm. Not only it is 20x larger than the previous ones but it also has a fool and soof rate of 1:1M meaning it is indeed hard to unlock and there is a 1 is a million chance that it can be unlocked by a total stranger. I don't really care much about the improvement they made on the camera since I personally don't use RAW mode and 8K video recording or even the 200mp (which only works on a 3:4/4:3 aspect ratio). Unless Samsung had improved and changed the fingerprint sensor this time... Then I will still have to PASS on this! #UltrasonicFingerpintSensorSucks #MahalPeroTinipidMasyado #PumangitNaSamsung #DiNaGayaNgDatiAngSamsung
