I bought the S23 Ultra (for free 512GB upgrade preoder), the Z-Flip 4, and S22 all for the 1K off trade in. Well AT&T did screw me on the S23 Ultra trade in. They didn't honor the any Galaxy S device any condition promo. My uses the S23 Ultra, while I switch between the S20 Ultra (high spec version), Note 20 Ultra, V60, and Wing all because of expandable storage. I'll even throw the Note 10+ and V30 in this from time to time.
I'm getting ready to go back to the note 9 getting rid of the s21 ultra, gave the Note 20 ultra to my nephew because he needed a phone. The Note 9 had everything all the features, These current devices we are getting cheated out of features and price, it doesn't matter to me if I don't get anymore software updates
I had a S10 5G, but they took off the iris scanner and no sd card slot. I like the note 9 since the S8, and I'm using mine as a daily.
it's all about making sales
Headphone jack, SD card slot, gorgeous display, big battery, big speakers, powerful specs, different biometrics... Basically everything but the kitchen sink. That was Samsung and that's why I loved them back then. Nowadays they just copy Apple and remove features to sell them separately to squeeze more money out of your pocket.

@@TheTechPreacher I just wish, when they end all support for the Note 9, they will release an updated Note 9 Extreme, basically same features, bigger battery, simmilar fom factor, just a bit Thicker for the beefier heat pipe and battery, updated S-Pen and screen to 4k 120 fps for VR , but with 720p 30fps minimum resolution and speed, but with the 10fpm low consumption screen saver for vital information like clock and notifications, they can just move the fingerprint sensor to the power button, and update the camera, but they should keep it tight, like the Note 9 has, and mostly in central position, to avoid fall damage. (the size should be as simmilar as it can, while being a bit thicker and have better specifications, but not flagship, the flagship thing should be the amount of features, and the increased efficiency of all components without any loss in features. [Maybe, as a nod to older note devices, they could also include a partnership with flipper zero and include IR blaster and receiver (next to the heart monitor sensors), and Radio transmission and reciever, and an enhanced nfc...]

I still have my 512g varient of this all time great device. I can still get a day and a half of battery life. I absolutely love this device. The Note 20 Ultra in my humble opinion is the best note overall but the Note 9 is Samsung's most complete and un compromised note they ever made

The last true note! Headphone jack, iris scanner, fingerprint sensor on the back, SD Card, high resolution display, LED notification...list goes on. Typing this on my note 9, user experience is amazing for such an old phone, fluid and no hiccups, battery life lasts me whole day. Went to see the S23 Ultra in my nearest tech shop, hoping to upgrade, Needless to say, I walked out the store unimpressed and loving my Note 9 and Note 20 even more.
Ayyyyyyyy you are absolutely right
If Samsung would have merged the headphone jack and SD card slot onto the S23 or S24 Ultra, I would have got it (I prefer the S23Ultra to the S24). Keep your Note 9 well preserved. It's a keeper. Shove it in Samsung's face 😅 insisting they bring back all that was right with their phones. They nailed it with the Note 9, creating a versatile device that does plenty. Another nice versatile device is the LG V60 with the dual screens.
Sony Xperia phones still have a headphone jack and SD card slot for removable expandable storage.
Still using it as my daily driver ❤

I've had my Note9 512gb for over 3 years now. If it gives up on me one day, I won't and I will buy the same again. I even check every now and then that it's still available to buy.
Headphone jack, all the biometric and health sensors available (fingerprint, iris, heart rate, blood oxygen), 512gb built-in with slot for another 512 on sd cards. Decent camera compared to new gens, great screen. Integrated S-pen. What else do I need? Nothing! You?

Likewise. I changed one to an A54 5g as I was concerned that older phones like the Note 9 wouldn't get the later security updates. Even though it's a mid range phone I also love the A54 but Note 9 is king. Kept in a draw now like yours.

I skipped the Note 9 I had the note 8 and got the note 10. Does the bottom of the phone vibrate when you hit the spot where the home button was. That was one of my favorite features on the note 8.

This was an awesome phone, and my personal favorite Note phone. I still have my old Note 9 and have so many memories and took so many pictures with this phone. If there's ever a Phone Hall of Fame, the Note 9 belongs there.

I have this phone and the cameras are fantastic I use it for my TH-cam channel but I still planning on getting the lg g8 as my back phone for the youtube live but other wise than that the cameras are still good its fast and smooth the only thing I don't like is the battery drain fast but I plan get the battery replaced or getting a powerbank

I am considering getting the Note 9 as a second phone. I've had it before and loved it. It was the more exact successor to the Note 7 than the Note 8, which unfortunately wasn't as perfect. I hope my keyboard translates everything correctly so you can understand😂

After over 5 years, my Note 9 's battery life sucks and it goes down quickly unlike the first year when I bought it!

I Just got a refurbished note 9 to backup my primary phone in case it goes down(Galaxy S22). With watching my use, I can get 25 hours total and 8-9 hours screen on time. Last night I actually hit 10 hours 17 minutes screen on time and 25 hours 5 minutes overall.
Of course I wouldn't recommend pushing it like that everyday, but with a new battery, this thing can still get ya lots of screen on time during a single charge cycle.
It truly is still a fantastic device. I imported the international Metallic Copper version and made sure it could run on the bandwidths available here in the states-- which it does. Obviously no 5G, but I live in a rural area that doesn't get 5G coverage anyway so that doesn't matter.

I had been using my Note 9 for 3,5 years, until I dropped it on the road and a car went over it. It still functioned with the cracked screen but I had to replace it.
If you would tell me now that I have to use Note 9 again and stick to it in 2023 and so on, I would do it happily.
Anyway, I am very surprised about your series, keep going, I really appreciate you and your work. I still think your channel is underrated.

What oldie, go to battery power mode and set to Medium power saving. Avoid gaming unless plugged in and your note 9 will still last all day. I will stop using note 9 and g8 when they stop booting if ever.
